I wish that my wife had just purchased through PC Gamerz Hawaii, I practically begged her to. Before I knew about the store, I had gone through a pretty rough time with a brand new other computer from another store that kept breaking on me, so when I saw that there was a local shop, that obviously knew what they were doing, I vowed I would buy my next PC there. When She was in the market I showed her PC Gamerz but she balked at the price...she went with someone else. I spent the difference today fixing the computer that was "cheaper".
At first I thought the store was a little dark, but then duh, people go in there to play games and no one likes screen glare. My wife's PC is back up and running again in no time and is now working better than it ever has due to the tweaks that they do to all computers as a standard. I was impressed by the store, it felt like years of dedicated hard work had gone into building a small local business and I will purchase the next PC that my house needs from Devin and his team.
Edit: I was able to upgrade to a PC build by Devin and his team on Christmas Eve, and it has been a dream come true. I felt kind of bad going in on Christmas Eve, and I felt worse because Devin was up way passed his bedtime putting the finishing touches on it... but he was the one who had a stupid sale on Christmas Eve. Why am I writing a review almost a month later? Because I have been either gaming on this beast, sleeping or working and only until tonight did I get to a point where I had the time to jam out a quick review. Having a 3060 ti screaming through all of my games has been one of the coolest experiences ever, I've installed old games just to see and...like I said, I've been playing a lot of games. I've barely touched CyberPunk because it is supposed to be heavily patched over the next year and I have plenty to do until they do what they are going to do to it, but seeing it on ultra settings on a nice gaming monitor is a thing of beauty with a 3000 series card. Knowing that it was built up the street from where I live, knowing that if there is any issue with it I can just make a call or walk in, those are two really awesome things that make this whole experience better. I didn't think having a glass case and a bunch of rgb would be as cool as it is, but it absolutely has an effect on the fps output, I'm pretty sure that I am getting all of the fps; and it is cool to just look at; a super nerdy fishbowl if you will(Devin, I didn't put it in a closet or on the floor, too pretty, I made it work) It ain't cheap, but good things are not cheap, but I would pay it again, and likely will when this thing ages out in...
Read morePC Gamerz is a wonderful gaming place where you can go to with perfectly priced rates. I say perfectly priced because they have many games like “League of legends”, “Overwatch”, “World of Warcraft”, plus more! They even have Super Smash Brothers Ultimate! Adding icing to this cake, there’s plenty of wonderful and knowledgeable people there, if you have questions or maybe you wanna improve in a game there’s always someone there to help. When I was stuck in a plateau, I met people there who helped me improve my game with things I wouldn’t have ever known if I haven’t come to PC Gamerz. They’re like family to me. There’s so many positive things I could say about PC Gamerz but I wouldn’t want to spoil the fun/magic for you and your family/friends. Also if you’re looking for a Custom Gaming PC for your home, you can ask their owner Devin for a quote. Devin and his team makes the best Custom Gaming PC’s (you can see their builds on their Facebook). I got one from Devin awhile back and I just love it. I’m currently playing GTA V online, League of legends, and many more games. I strongly believe these PC’s will last for a long time. I also strongly believe Devin’s builds are masterpieces for their prices. Also if you’re really looking to have a really uniquely themed custom PC (example coming below) then you’re at the right place because Devin and his team can do that if you invest more into your build. For example there was this beautiful custom Unicorn build they made and wow it was the most unique PC I ever saw at that time! (I think they have a video on there Facebook somewhere. I saw that build when they posted it) These Custom PC’s speak for themselves once you see them in person. But yes I highly recommend PC Gamerz for so many reasons. (Please excuse my grammar if I made mistakes. This is my first...
Read moreBrought my PC to be fixed after it was dropped during a move, they took a week to tell me what was wrong with my PC, they stated my PC has “poor Airflow” I never had any issues with it overheating or excessive fan running. The only broken components was the Power Supply Unit. They told me they would not replace the PSU, a at most 100-120 dollar fix minus labor unless I did an entire soft rebuild which would cost me 1000 dollars more then I originally payed for the setup. Every other PC shop in the area gavema 250 dollar price based o locations assessment. Prior to this i explicitly stated to the worked I DID NOT WANT THE CASE REPLACED. It would have been acceptable to turn me away at that point if they didn’t want to do the repairs. When I came in the worker was extremely rude and kinda antisocial, wasn’t a very hopeful environment, just his attitude didn’t make me feel confident in his ability to fix the PC. I’ve worked in customer service for many many years as a auto mechanic, so I’m not unfamiliar with the demands of repairing someone else’s mess. I haven’t picked up my PC yet so they still have the opportunity to make this right but until then the review stays. As it is.
Edit: after speaking with the manger he agreed to do the repairs and got it done in a quick amount of time, the manager explained the employee was new and under training and he got me my PC fixed at a affordable price, probably about 100-120 dollars over the price of the component so I think it was fair for the time it probably took to replace and evaluate the issue. I haven’t used it yet but my wife told me she saw it running on pick up so I’m...
