Weâre a family of six visiting from Texas who went to see Young the Giant on Aug. 15th. We purchased lawn seats months in advance without knowing that there are no chair rentals available onsite. My disabled mother-in-law was with us and has a walker. We arrived early enough to grab a great front row lawn spot, posting mom up in her walker.
Shortly after, we were kindly approached by Mark (the sweetest gentleman) who let us know that her seat was too high for that area. Without hesitation, he graciously coordinated with his colleagues to relocate all of us to ADA seating. Not only did they escort us personally, but they continued to check in on our mom throughout the eveningâoffering to move us again if the sun became too much. We declined since the sun was already setting, but the gesture was incredibly thoughtful.
The entire venue was well arranged and managed with professionalism, courtesy, and genuine care. No smoking, no vaping, no drunken monkeysâthanks to their attentive staff and strong policies. The atmosphere was safe, clean, and family-friendly, and the concert experience was elevated because of the kindness and organization shown by everyone we encountered.
Five stars arenât enough for the service we receivedâthank you for making this such a memorable night...

You will fill out a contact tracing form using a QR code that you to scan while you wait in line to get in. The line outside moved very quickly. They also want you to have your mask on when you're getting walked to your seats by the ushers. If you're looking to have a drink or two Bud Light 24 oz cups are 11 dollars, Stella was 13 dollars, and mixed drinks were 9 dollars. They take card for payment but cash only for the tips. They also only allow you to buy one at a time. And you can only be in line if you are buying booze and over 21. At this event they stopped serving as soon as the opening act came on stage so be ready for a quick last call. Another thing to be aware of is that they don't let you take an alcoholic beverage to the bathroom, it can't pass an imaginary line. I didn't get any food but one of the stands had BBQ and another had Pad Thai. Overall the acoustics were amazing and the show was great. The Waikiki Shell is a solid place to see your favorite act if they...
