A friend and I decided to visit this establishment this past Sunday, 12/20/2020 and received the WORST customer service possible. After making our order and providing payment (as standard business transaction go) we sat in their outside seating area to await our order. By the way our order was 2 strawberry lemonades. After waiting about 5 minutes the cashier that took our order came to us and said they were out of what we ordered and instead of offering us our money back she said she could make us something she personally recommended. We agreed provided that she substituted the fruit in one of the drinks. When the our order was up the cashier called and my friend picked the drinks up. After tasting the drinks we not only realized that the drinks were made wrong but they didn’t taste well at all. So my friend brought them back to the counter and asked for a refund. The cashier took the drinks and proceeded to get a manager. (This is where things take a complete nose dive).
The manager comes out and begins to berate my friend in front of fellow patrons of the cafe and surrounding restaurants. Yelling that there was nothing wrong with what she gave us and that if we didn’t like it that was tough because she would no be providing a refund OR EVEN THE DRINKS THAT SHE HAS ALREADY GIVEN US BACK. After being completely floored by then lack of professionalism and any knowledge of standard business practices we decided that we would not be provoked by the manager (who also said that she owned then establishment) and left. I DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE RECOMMENDED THAT YOU VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I understand that the current pandemic has taken it’s toll on small businesses but to react in such a way to someone who decided to spend their hard earned money at your establishment is unacceptable and should not...

When the girl finally acknowledged that there were people waiting, she asked the people BEHIND me in line what they wanted...(?) they were confused and pointed to us because we were clearly next in line. she finally asked what my friend and I wanted to order. In the middle of ordering she turned to her coworker and started singing the song on the radio.....the whole thing was very bizarre. I ordered the ahi plate. Once she was done singing her solo she told me (with no explanation) that they didn't have that. But that they had fish for the fish wrap. "What fish do you have in the fish wrap?" Ahi. "So what is in it today?" In the rudest and most condescending tone she replied "AHI. I JUST SAID THAT." Another woman had to quickly cut in and explain that they are prepared differently and they are out of the plain ahi used for the plate. Even if she had "just said that" in a way that made it clear what she was trying to say which she hadn't, behaving like that toward a customer is never okay. I will NEVER be going back there. And being as that I work as a concierge in a prominent hotel in Waikiki, I will NEVER recommend their restaurant to ANYONE again. Management needs to control their staff. I'm talking about the girl with the eye makeup and braces....just in case they want to do...
Read moreOnly takes cash, this company is not up to date on 21st century point of sale. They do not have a customer reward program as other companies do when you purchase smoothies and acai bowls. I love getting my 10th smoothie for free as well as gym, student, and military discounts, but this place has none. The worst however was when I asked for half of my acai bowl to be served on a separate container before the honey was added so that I could share with my 10 month old baby. The lady ignored my request and simply added honey to half of the bowl, then pointed out to me what half had the honey in it. This action could have severely affected my baby's health. There have been of poisoning in baby's with honey as it is not processed and baby's immune sustain does not have the ability at this age to produce natural antibodies against bacterial contaminants in the honey. At last, the issue with their Loco Moco was that their beef smells and tastes worse than my dogs food. My dog does get high premium dog food as well as freshly cooked beef, but this meat in their Loco Moco was absolutely the most disgusting I've ever tried in my life. My husband said it tasted as if they had used MRE meat. Unfortunately I will not be taking my family or friends to this place nor recommending...
