BEST Taco Tuesday place EVER!! $2.50 for a Ono fish taco (or you can do chicken although it's not as amazing). At first I was wary because it looked like it was topped with just a bunch of different types of cabbage & some white sauce but after one bite.... MINDBLOWN!! I could just drink that creamy, dreamy white sauce. It's also good sized piece of solid fish too. Healthy & delicous for only $2.50. There's always a line on Tuesday and even though the kitchen is pretty fast, it's a good idea to order ahead. Super cute inside. Hip but with local Hawai`ian flare so it doesn't seem hipster. One bad note was that the garlic fries were not good. Just mounds of too raw garlic plopped on top, making the fries a soggy glob. So just order more fish tacos instead. Is it Tueday yet?!

This is a great food stop. All the burritos are great, but my favorite is the shrimp. The garlic butter fries are a must. The Cajun fries are good, if you like a sweet twang with your spice. I usually bought more than one burrito per trip; one for right now, and another for later. I highly encourage you to order ahead, they can get very busy and you may have to wait a bit (only reason for 4-stars). The staff are very friendly, and don't mind taking the time to explain the menu if you're trying something for the first time. Can't wait for my next Hawaii trip, and another South Shore Grill burrito.

This was a great experience. We were visiting Hawaii over the past week and while we were doing the typical tourist activities, we asked about some good "local eateries". South Shore Grill was recommended and it happened to be quite close from our stay. We made our way to the restaurant and we were glad we did. Food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. It's a smallish place but we were taking ours to go anyway. We ordered some fish tacos (Taco Tuesday!) and some plates on the menu. They were all very tasty and fresh. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a magnificent experience with South Shore Grill. I had the Ono plate lunch with garlic and it was fantastic. Fish was perfect, the Mac salad was unique. My wife had the spicy garlic shrimp plate which was also very very good. Then not pictured was the bbq chicken quesadilla which you must order. It was sooooo good and the chipotle sauce with it is to die for. It was so good we stopped in two days after this meal just for the quesadilla. If I only had one day on the island this would be one of my meals!

Found this little gem by doing a google search. It did not disappoint. There were two of us and we both got the 2 Ono fish taco plate. We each got one, that was a LOT of food! One order would have been for the two of us. There tacos were great, coleslaw had a different taste, but I’m not from Hawaii so maybe they make it different here. And the fries were done just right. And you have to get a macadamia nut cookie…. So good. As an FYI, seating is limited and tight, so don’t have big expectations for that.

If you’re in Hawaii around Waikiki, you’re crazy not to show up to this place. The prices are incredible. The food is out of this world check the photo and the service incredible Anna, Armenian girl.
