I've had 2 cars get tinted and 1 car had a radio installed at Sounds Great and every time I went I was met with great customer service. The shop is just like other local sound shops I used to go to as a kid looking at stereo's, amps, and the like for my car. The guys truly go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with your visit. I've read some negative reviews, but I can't imagine anyone would be dissatisfied with going here. I would keep in mind that this is a busy shop, and if you're wanting something installed there, you're probably going to have to make an appointment, especially on a Saturday.
The radio I bought for my S2000 was not able to be installed that day, but it was a Saturday so I was not surprised. I ended up making an appointment for the following Saturday. When I arrived for my appointment, we went over exactly what I ordered and they gave me an estimated time the car would be completed. Then they called me when it was time to pick up the car. The radio looked great and the even the dash controls worked as they were supposed to.
The first time I had window tint applied the car was a BRZ. The second car I took to them was my S2000. Both times the tint jobs were spot on. No bubbles could be seen when they were finished and they didn't put some random sticker under the tint for advertising.
I just moved to town last year, and the shop was recommended to me by a local dealership, as they used them to tint some of their cars, and I'm glad they did. I will continue to take my cars to Sounds Great for all my tinting and...
Read moreWent in & picked out a radio & speakers for my car. The salesman suggested that I make an appointment for installation instead of waiting around all day in hopes of getting worked into their schedule. I made the appointment for a few days later & when I arrived they did not have the stereo I picked not in stock, even the display model was gone! I was off of work & drove 50 minutes to get there and NO RADIO! The salesman apologized & said "I guess I should have written it down." The owner offer a different radio, but it was not what I wanted. They offered to order the radio I wanted & reschedule the appointment. The salesman was happy to report that they had a cancellation the next day at the same time & ask if I wanted it. I asked if the radio was going to be in by then, otherwise there was no need for an appointment. He said, "Good point." My experience with Sounds Great was like a run in with the Keystone Cops! I went to Automotive Concepts & got the exact stereo & speakers I wanted professionally installed...
Read moreWe've had two tremendous experiences with Sounds Great. The first was the installation of a DVD player in the family car (thanks Edward Chevrolet - 280 for the guidance!) and the second was the installation of a backup camera and new radio in my son's car. The quality of the install is amazing. Everything looks like it was installed at the assembly plant when the vehicle first rolled off the line. Just a clean, polished, finished look. Nothing looks like it was an afterthought or just attached to the vehicle in the easiest manner. They help you select the best option for your need and vehicle, take time to hide the wires, and integrate installed devices with the vehicle's existing functions (like steering wheel volume control and channel buttons) for ease of use. Emmitt and the guys just know what they're doing. There is a reason they've been there for 38 years. They do great work and they stand behind the products and their craftsmanship. I'm a big fan. Thank you Emmitt and thank you to the entire...
