Not only is this place an Awesome 🤩 skating place to go to. The owners and managers and staff are friendly, respectful and care about the people. They care about the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility as well. The bathroom has always been clean, they take good care of the ice. If someone falls there is a skate monitor to check on you and help you. The mats at each entry point of the ice is maintained. This is extremely important. My daughter got hurt at the Memorial city mall skating rink because of those mats when they get wet become very slippery. She fell several times and got hurt really bad because her skate would slip out from underneath her. That has never happened at Aerodrome.
Aerodrome is ran by professionals who know and care and have produced some pro’s in the hockey league. They have a pro shop as well that sharpen your blades.
I can’t say enough good things. We have been coming here since my daughter was 12 years old and have the...
Read moreI was really disappointed by the hockey learn to skate program. It came highly recommended so we were excited to go. When my daughter went through hockey 1 I noticed they did the same 2-3 things every session and the instructors rarely corrected the students when they were doing something incorrectly. Benefit of the doubt, signed her up for hockey 2...they had them doing the same 2-3 things as they did in hockey 1 every session. Still rarely correcting anything. I understand the need to reinforce foundational things, but there was no moving forward. All but one of the instructors seemed like they were just going through the motions and the only good one was with a different class every session. My daughter loves skating and was very excited to get into hockey, but halfway through hockey 2 she said she didn't want to go anymore because the classes made...
Read moreLocation is convenient, ice is maintained decent, and the two staff that often work in the concessions for public skate/ parties are kind and respectful! BUT the staff make this place almost unbearable. There is poor communication between rental and skate shop on availability of walkers/ seals so they often run out leaving adults to either pay a difference or young skaters to be without. Missy in the skate shop is rude and glares at you, when as a paying patron you attempt to provide feedback on concerns or frustrations, and Liberty, one of the skate staff, is blatantly rude and disrespectful, talking about customers under her breathe. Would be more than happy to come here more often if they hire staff that care and are at least cordial not...
