The beer is nothing less than spectacular. I love a good IPA and their "Phaser Fight" is a great IPA that's very well balanced. As a matter of fact it's my new favorite IPA. "Fake Landing" is an equally delicious Hazy IP with a wonderful citrus aroma and flavor. "Cruis'n Through" their helles lager is the perfect beer for someone who wants a little bit more than what an American light lager offers and "Monster Beast Theatre" their cookie ale has a wonderful taste of toasted coconut without being overly sweet. It pairs well with comfort food. Last night I enjoyed Monster Beast with my chicken potpie. If you want to keep it simple then try the "Cloud Punch". The taproom is big. When I was there they had seven of their own beers on tap and a variety of ciders from local cideries. There are plenty of games such as cornhole, air hockey, foosball and billiards to keep you busy as you enjoy the beer. They're really worth checking out and you're going to love the beer. The Punk Rock Garage Sale event they just held was a lot of fun. I wasn't sure what that would be all about but I'm really happy that I went because I enjoyed the best flautas ever and got a jar of habanero honey. Great place to just hang out, drink a great beer and kill some time...

Started off so well... beer was okay, food truck was pretty good. We went with a group of 16 people, we were amazed by the space and the all the awesome games (air hockey, pool tables, basketball game, shuffle board), The amount of space, ect. Unfortunately, NONE of us will ever return. It was Tuesday night, open comedy night. We went to get a last round and get 1 last beer (they close at 11) and there were at least 4 more comics to go with 3 minute sets, the bartender ask if it's "togo" we said sure we'll take it to go, thinking she doesn't want us to stick around and hang out after the comics cause they're closing. We go to watch the last 4 comics and the bartender that sold us the 1 beer, comes to us with a horrible attitude, says "You said that beer was to go. Did you not hear me when I said it's to go?" We said yes, astonished and very confused then she proceeds to take the beer out of my hand takes the koozie off my beer and throws my koozie on the table. Walks away without another word. We all decide to leave cause why stay? Then as we're all leaving it's posted "no alcohol beyond this point" No refund on the beer she took from us, no explanation, nothing. I felt so embarrassed that I talked this place up to my family...

Really cool place to chill and vibe free games, I got one of the coladas and it hit so nice I had also got a burger from the food truck bellas burgers and honestly it was the best burger I had in Houston and I'm not even from here , that truck deserves it's credit there was only one guy in there and he handled the register cooked the burgers and got your food to you in like 15 minutes I got the sunrise burger at 8oclock at night! 😂😭👊🏾 Whether you find me or the food truck weird it was bussin anyway over easy egg over the hottest perfectly seasoned and grilled burger. They even allow dogs I was even considering bringing mine til a dog fight broke out causing one to be harmed even though it was the dog that ran up to the other one (it could have just been trying to take a sniff ) but the other dog just attacked instead of giving a friendly greeting a chance alot of blood was on the floor from the dogs leg bleeding and both owners didn't exchange any words just separated the dogs so beware before bringing your pooch here. Obviously people don't know how to control their dogs or their manners but it also doesn't have ac and I came at night and the fans were just fine ( if you are concerned about the...

The “Ink Slingers Tattoo Convention,” hosted at Bad Astronaut Brewery, delivered a memorable experience that seamlessly blended artistry, community, and hospitality. My studio participated in this event & offered a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for both enthusiasts and families alike. The venue itself proved to be a highlight. Bad Astronaut Brewery not only provided ample space for artists and attendees but also featured family-friendly entertainment options. From engaging games to the option of catching a live sports game, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The brewery’s selection of craft beers deserves a special mention—diverse, well-curated, and sure to satisfy a wide range of palates. Whether you’re a fan of hoppy IPAs or prefer something smoother and malt-forward, their tap list makes it easy to discover a new favorite. Overall, the experience was exceptional. The thoughtful curation of the event, combined with the comfortable setting and excellent refreshments, made for an enjoyable day for both myself and my family. It’s an event worth attending and a venue worth revisiting.
