Khamo Spa — Attraction in Houston

Left this place with a weird feeling. I agree with the other comment on this review, the man who does the massages at this place creeped me out as well. The massage felt a bit innapropriate, the more I think about it...this place is odd. Im still trying ro understand why he massaged the upper part of my legs at the end, If I only wanted a foot massage. At first I thought this massage was great and the last part was just weird. I kept telling myself that maybe that was part of the massage, but the more I think about it I would have to disagree on that and after reading the other review...my suspicion about inappropriateness about this place is confirmed. You cant even complain or request your service, you have to point it out on the price list when you walk in, as nobody there speaks English. I am conpletely understanding of the language barrier and even left them a tip. I cant stop thinking about the weirdness of it all now that Im home. The lady across from me who was also getting a massage was complaining out loud and they didnt understand what she was saying. She was trying to tell them the water was too hot and they changed it again to hot water, she changed massaged person as she said the first one kept leaving the room. My daughter was waiting for me in the room and the man asked her with signs to leave to the next room. Not exactly sure why it would upset him if she was present all I needed was a simple foot massage, but i was thinking he just wanted me to relax and he wanted privacy to do his job but it was just all too weird. He was upset the whole time and his hands smelled like he had been smoking. When I walked in I had to tell him to stop massaging my head that I was only there for a foot massage and he could not understand me so then he brought in another person and she couldn't understand me either. Then, finally they understood me because I said the price of the massage. It was my first massage ever and so I didnt know what to expect and I didnt know when to complain...now I know never to go here again!!! This place is shady from beginning to end. I don't recomend this place at all!!!! The worse part of it all was this was my mothers day gift from my husband :( wish I could talk to the owner about all of this...

After reading reviews of this place and hearing about it I was really excited about going especially for the price of $40 for an hour of a back and foot massage! I left there completely creeped out and totally uncomfortable with my massage I just received!

Ok so the first 30 minutes was a good foot massage. They match you to have a man be with a woman and a woman to be with a man. The next 30 minutes is what turned me off BAD. I was brought to a different room and told I needed to take my top for the massage..... I didn't think too much about it since that is what you would normally do at a massage place. Well, I left my bra on and made sure to cover up with the blanket. When he came back in, without warning or even asking me he TOOK THE BLANKET OFF OF ME. It was SO weird. And then he popped my bra unloose without asking me! It was the weirdest thing! He didn't even try to cover me up again. I let it go, told myself it must be some weird cultural thing that is acceptable. Well when the massage was over he told me I could "take a nap" for 10 minutes, so as soon as he walked out I jumped up and started putting my shirt back on. He walked in again, without asking, and didn't even act like it was weird to stand there and watch me.

I will not be back. Even with the pricing. It was extremely uncomfortable and I am not happy with the lack of respect or privacy...

Love this place for foot reflexology, combination or full body massage. The male I typically see is very intuitive with his touch, and is very active in the massage meaning he gets a work out. He incorporates some stretching and body movements that help me reach the full potential of release. I truly appreciate this place and given that I have had thousands of massages at this point and this place and the people I see there are some of the best. Massages are not for the shy of body, they are there to work out the kinks of your body. So if you are considering this place, please leave your hang ups at the door and allow them to do their very best work. You will not be disappointed and will walk out with a new outlook on life while...
