If you haven’t been to this place then it is a must try. They do not have a menu so let me go ahead and give you the scoop on how to order at this place. They mainly have kabob skewers (chicken, lamb, and beef), shawarma sandwiches, and burgers. Their skewers are their top sellers and if you order them ask “can I have the sauces that go with it?” After that, they’ll give you a plate of sauces. This place is in a parking lot and it’s easy to miss so he on the look out when you’re trying to find it. Secondly, this place is open late. Which is a huge plus for late night eaters. Thirdly, they do sell soda but if you feel their selection is limited you can always go to the gas station nearby. Forth, their food does take some time so you want to be sure you’re ready to wait 20 mins or so. Most of all, their English is a bit broken and their truck is a bit noisy so be sure you’re loud and proud when speaking to them. You can also order over the phone as well before you come to delay your wait time. When you get the food, you’ll be able to tell its fresh. I don’t think they have ever sold any old product. The prices are high and are even higher now that everything has gone up. However, overall this place is yummy and always brings me back for more. The meat kabobs are moist and flavorful. My favorite is the beef kafta kabob. Hands down it doesn’t beat anything. They use the same kafta kabob on their burger but I don’t like their burgers too much but their Kabobs are out of this world. I really enjoy this place and I always introduce my friends to this place when they come out of town. It’s definitely a must spot if you’re...

If you're searching for the best kebabs, look no further than Al Hawi food truck! I recently had the pleasure of trying their kebabs, and I must say, they are the best I've ever eaten. The meat is incredibly juicy and soft, practically melting in your mouth with every bite.

What made our experience even more delightful is the warm and friendly staff. Their hospitality adds a personal touch that makes you feel welcome. Open from 5 PM to 5 AM, provides a clean, well-lit location that's perfect for a late-night food adventure. A friend recommended this place to us, and despite having already eaten dinner at home, we couldn't resist trying one kebab. It was so good that we ended up eating six!

The secret to their unique and delicious flavor lies in their charcoal grill, which imparts a smoky taste that you won't find anywhere else.

Al Hawi food truck is a must-try spot for anyone who loves good food. I can't...

We got 2 orders of chicken skewers and 4 lamb. FANTASTIC flavor. They grill on coal and the flavor is SUPERB. It's the best Middle Eastern grill I've had in Houston, and I've tried quite a few places. Took about 15 minutes for the order to be ready. They gave us 4 pita loaves, grilled tomtoes, grilled onion, garlic and chili sauce, and a salad of parsley, sliced red onion, sumac, and lettuce. We devoured the food within minutes. The chicken was moist and had a traditional Middle Eastern flavor. The lamb was also very moist and flavorful, but I wish it had just a bit more salt. They don't have a menu yet, so I don't really know what else they offer, but I would definitely suggest paying them a visit. Will definitely be back. I really hope their quality stays the same because if it does, I'll most definitely be a...

Review for Alhawi Restaurant (formerly Shawarma King) After nearly a decade, we returned to try the beef shawarma at Alhawi Restaurant, which was formerly Shawarma King. Over the years, we’ve often stopped here for the delicious flavors of beef or chicken shawarma. This time, though, we noticed quite a few changes — new staff, a refreshed atmosphere, and a different name. We arrived close to closing time, which may have affected our experience, but overall, we found the flavors to still be satisfying. The beef shawarma was well-spiced, though we’d love to return during busier hours to get the full experience. For anyone familiar with the old Shawarma King, Alhawi has kept some of the classics alive, but the new team and ambiance offer a fresh twist to the familiar flavors.
