Having recently viewed several galleries featuring "modern art" I was disappointed but not surprised by the pseudointellectual craftless tat on display at this gallery. How it is humanly possible to create such mindless, lifeless garbage, and then have the audacity to call it fine art, is the only thing I found interesting about this gallery. It's as if the trend in art today is to create something that shows a complete absence of effort, imagination, creativity, skill and mastery. A few smudges or streaks on a canvas make a "painting" or a "sculpture" that is indistinguishable from a grey stucco wall. In many of the works the depressing and mindless absence of color, in favor of mundane gunship gray, seems to be some kind of "lofty artistic expression," presumably to appeal to the equally self-absorbed pretentious viewer.
