Worst Whataburger customer service ever. The people work the Drive-Thru act like they're slow (special needs) I order my food online through the app. That way when I arrive all I have to do is go through the drive-thru pick up my food and keep it moving. Well I skip the speaker, because there's no need for me to stop at the speaker if I ordered my food on the app and asked for it to be ready within the next 7 minutes. But I sat in the Drive-Thru for 20 minutes before I got to the window. When I got to the window. The dude working the window ignored me for a while, I guess he was upset because I did not stop at the speaker. 27 minutes ago. All I needed to do was tell him my name get my food and go. Well when he finally got to the window, I let him know that I ordered online and I was there to pick up my order. Do you know these people had not even prepared my food. He opened the freezer and took my onion rings out I was about to go drop them to fry mind you I was on my way to work and had already sat in the Drive-Thru for 20 minutes. So I'm running late. So when I blew the horn to get his attention to come back to the window and asked him why is he now making my onion rings? he said it was because I did not stop and order at the window. I told him I didn't need to stop at the window cuz my food should have been ready and bagged up already. Because I ordered online 27 minutes ago. So tonight, same thing I rode past the window. Waited in line that was two cars in front of me. And when I got to the window, bro working the window did everything he could to ignore me he took two orders he dropped some fries he made a couple drinks he did everything to avoid me and not make eye contact with me and did not come to the window to see what I wanted. I'm sure this was supposed to be punishment for me not stopping at the speaker. Finally I blew the horn he came to the window and I told him why I was there. The point I'm making is, if your job is customer service then you need to take care of your customers. He don't know why I didn't stop at the speaker. Yet he never came to see what I needed. I could have been a mute and couldn't talk. You guys really need to do better at your customer service because I know you're going...
Read moreSo how many people have been people have been overcharged for 2 cups of water when it should be free unless you order a large water. Unless policy has changed at some point. I pull up to speaker order my waters and the guy didn’t ask if I wanted anything else or tell me okay please pull forward or nothing and they didn’t have a particularly long line. So I’m looking for a reason to excuse the lack of customer service. I brush it off and pull forward and wait for the line till I get to window turns out the waters weren’t put in the computer and they are sitting on the counter. So I let the girl know that I only ordered the waters she looks at the screen confused and then tells me a total of $3.44 I was like wow that’s high. Get my receipt and look at it and I was charged for 2 kids drinks. I call the store and speak to one of the managers or leads and she tells me that the cup I got was a “big” cup so they had to charge for the cup. She repeated this description of “big” several times before I asked for her to tell me what size in terms on s,m, l or oz. So that there was no confusion in the decision of the impromptu policy they decided to set at the window. The employee didn’t know what they were doing and the manager justified it to secure profit margins or something of that nature. Just saying WHATABURGER CORPORATE OR THIS FRANCHISE NEEDS TO LOOK A VIT CLOSER AT THE OVERALL PRACTICES THEY CHOOSE TO USE HERE AT THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION. Keep in mind this is not the first time I’ve gotten medium waters only through the drive through at Whataburgers in the...
Read moreDO NOT MOBILE ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION.
Mobile orders are not completed on arrival even with a generous ten minutes lead time. This has happened several times to me at this location with me having to go in to find out my order had not been processed yet ten minutes after check-in my arrival. There were people going through the drive thru faster.
Mobile orders are often wrong at this location. It appears that an Arnold Palmer (half lemonade, half iced tea) is the most difficult drink to make in the world, at least for the people who work at this restaurant. They constantly screw it up. Today I was given a drink that was all sweet tea (so not even the unsweetened tea I asked for in my drink) and then a half tea/half water because they changed the syrup bag for the lemonade but didn't flush the lines.
Why aren't mobile orders processed and complete on arrival? People aren't waiting in the drive thru for a half hour to get their meals, so what's the point of using the mobile app to order from this location? That leads me to conclude that, for me, there's no point in visiting this location, especially as they've routinely gotten my pay docked for being stopped in one place too long. I want to be in and out, and on to my next service call. I'm not grabbing food from this s**t shack because it's healthy or good -- I'm getting it here because it's...
