Dbar. One of Houstons historic neighborhood gems. It is not a big place and it's better because of that. Everything is close and intimate and in your face. Very good drinks, good food when it is offered. The food trucks across the street are what you really want. The best chopped beef sandwich on Texas toast I ever been served came out of one of those trucks. Like I said before this place is historical and is surrounded by other dates landmarks. Walking through here is like walking through history. I enjoy myself everytime I come to this area as is it very easy going and down to earth. I encounter the nicest and most genuine people you will ever have the chance of partying with. I will continue to come back this place in the future. Tip the cute bartenders for the fabulous...

This was a pretty chill spot they played great music. My girls and I danced and had a great time. The MC seemed to be over VIP section as well. When we came in it looked like open seating because it wasn't roped off and also there was a giant speaker in the sitting area Blasting music. It wasn't crowded at first so we just sat down with our drinks. The MC came over and told us. Read your receipt because gratuity already be added and they be adding a $4 liquor upcharge per drink and the receipt says you purchased casa amigos and Hennessey for $12 a shot plus the $4 per drink liquor upcharge, making the drinks now $16 a shot. Also, there is an additional 18% gratuity added to that amount of the drinks. That's not the price. They just think you've had so much liquor that you are not aware. Read your receipts.
