The Inman gallery is one of my favorite galleries that I fully recommend! The exhibitions are always so thought out and beautiful. They show so many different local artists. And the staff are so incredibly kind and helpful. They give you the space to just truly appreciate the art in your own time. But they are always there if you have any questions or simply want to talk to someone about how cool the art is. Finding parking can be a bit difficult (like Houston parking usually is) but definitely take the time to check the Inman gallery out. Their website also lets you know what exhibitions are going on and when. And if you get on their email list, they don't spam you with emails so you can actually just stay informed on what's happening there. Here's some pictures from the last time I went.

We had a short visit to the Inman Gallery whilst in Kuala Lumpur. There were 2 galleries to visit, both of which were quite small, but offered very different things. The exhibition in situ whilst we visited was disappointing, but I did enjoy the main gallery on the higher floor, which had a lot of interesting Malaysian art.

There is a depressing sameness to all these "art" galleries. More pseudo-intellectual nonsense masquerading as fine art. It's sad how corrupt and dumbed-down the art world has become. It's as if the trend of so-called modern art is to display as little talent and effort as possible, and accompany the mindless tat with ridiculously pretentious titles--presumably to impress the viewer and distract from the fact that the work is amateurish at best. The only thing I find interesting is what compels these people. who clearly lack any real artistic ability, to pose as artists. Ask yourself, "What would da Vinci think if he walked into one of these galleries?" We all know the...
