What an Experience! A Must-Visit Dessert Spot in Houston 🍰🍦🍩 If you’re a dessert lover or someone with an insatiable sweet tooth, this is the place to be in Houston. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat—literally. The aroma of freshly made sweets hit me instantly, and the vibrant display of desserts was almost overwhelming (in the best way possible). Ambiance & Atmosphere: The place was packed—and for good reason. It seems like this is the go-to dessert spot in town, and the crowd reflects its popularity. While the energy was exciting, the only downside was the lack of seating. It was hard to find a place to sit and enjoy the desserts leisurely. So, keep in mind: this might be more of a grab-and-go or eat-outside kind of experience unless you get lucky with a table. Service: Despite the crowd, I was impressed by how efficiently the staff handled orders. The service was fast, organized, and surprisingly smooth given how busy it was. You can tell they’re used to the rush and have a system in place. Prices: Very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. While not super cheap, it’s definitely fair for what you get, and honestly, the flavor and presentation make it worth every penny. Taste: Now let’s talk about the star of the show—the taste. Every bite was heavenly. The desserts were rich, flavorful, and freshly made. You can really tell they put care into crafting each item. Whether you’re into cakes, cookies, or creamy creations, you’re going to find something that blows your mind. Final Thoughts: I’ll absolutely be going back. Just be prepared for the crowd and try to visit during off-peak hours if you want a more relaxed experience. But even with the wait and seating issue, the overall experience and the phenomenal desserts made it 100% worth it. Highly recommend for anyone visiting or living in Houston. It’s a sweet escape you won’t forget.

read!👉🏼after waiting in the car for hours to finally get to Houston, after waiting and lying for a long time, I finally got to try a Dubai chocolate that is worth every single penny!... I've tried so-called to buy chocolate here and there from different companies + it has always been a "waste "of my money!!!!!!! I always dreamed in pictures of what it's supposed to taste like even though I've never had the original in Dubai (fix brand) My expectations for your your roastery is what I ever could have dreamed to believe. I just wish I would have purchased the strawberry Dubai cup! instead I just purchased the mini bars and of course the Dubai chocolate ice cream which was like the best gelato but 10000% better!!!! I can be a" gelato snob 🙄" I thought the bar was good... this ice cream is beyond anything I could even have dream to taste!!!!! The next time I'm in Houston I'm going to purchase mini bars!!!! if I have to freeze them up I.... I just wish you would have shipping handling option, but I know that you sell out quickly so I understand you can't do this but maybe in the future? because Houston is a long drive... I'm sure I'll fall in love with the strawberry cup as well... if it tastes anything like the bar/ ice cream... I might just buy four or five of the strawberry bars (again, taking them home and freezing them) and of course buying tons of the bars!!! you can tell this is all freshly homemade!!! I don't see how anyone could make this ice cream taste any more better than what you have made!!!! if you're reading this, please try the ice cream. it is like the best gelato but 100000% better!!!!! The bars themselves. the chocolate tastes like the finest Belgian chocolate. the pistachio is so pronounced ridiculously creamy in the crunch is absolutely perfect!!!! The only thing that makes me sad is why I did it by the strawberry dubai chocolate cup.... I wish so much that one day you will have deliver... especially driving about 4 hours... it's been months and I can still crave and wish I had the ice cream and bar!!! and like I stated earlier, I tried the so-called to buy chocolate from other companies... it's always been horrible.. The so-called Dubai chocolate from this place... I literally am thinking it's probably just as good as the original fix brand, but probably maybe even better!?! cuz I honestly can't think of anything that tastes better except of course. could you buy chocolate ice cream which again is better than most gelato and I'm a gelato snob!!!!??5 stars i put BUT its more 10+++++ stars! ☺️☺️☺️😍😍 if only I had the money I would might move to...

I’ve been to Royal Roastery in Houston three times, and while the treats are good, the customer service is inconsistent and, at times, outright disrespectful.

The first visit, my family and I (all African American women) were excited to try the Dubai chocolate and some of the unique ice cream flavors. The older gentleman with green eyes who was making the ice cream was friendly and talkative with the customers ahead of us, but as soon as it was our turn, he completely ignored us at first, acting like we didn’t exist. When he finally decided to help us, he was short, dismissive, and rude. Despite the unpleasant experience, we still purchased our items and did enjoy the chocolate and ice cream.

The second visit was much better. A younger woman helped us, and her friendly, attentive demeanor made us feel welcomed and safe. She provided excellent customer service, and once again, we enjoyed the desserts we purchased.

Unfortunately, our third visit (which was today) was just as disappointing as the first. The same older gentleman from our first visit was now working the cash register. He didn’t greet us, acknowledge us, or make any attempt to treat us with respect. My mother, who has social anxiety, wanted to try the kunafa. My sister politely asked what it was and if we could try a slice. At first, he acted like he didn’t know what she was talking about, then flatly said no and smirked when she asked again. It was so awkward and rude that another employee had to step in to take over our order. Even then, the older man didn’t thank us or say anything as we completed the transaction.

I’m not sure if this is racially motivated, but we felt uncomfortable, disrespected, and frankly violated. As paying customers, the least we expect is basic human decency, and that was far from what we received. While the desserts themselves are good, the Dubai chocolate’s quality seems as inconsistent as the customer service.

If you’re going to run a business, you should treat all customers with respect. My family and I are extremely disappointed, and we won’t...
