Anytime that I feel the need for some relaxation, or the feeling of travel to a differing culture !!! I drive to this area of the city for a walk in hopes of finding differing point of views from migrated individuals while seeking conversations of their stories of their youth and on occation of their personal and political views of their original homeland and their views of the DEMOCRACY of the United States, that's so freely extended to themselves and their families, while having the ability in maintaining a LIFESTYLE and while seeking opportunities each ones journey, life achievments, and the goals they've set for their children and grandchildren !!! Basically for myself to witness the United.States CONSTITUTION'S DEMOCRACY'S MELTING POT actively WORKING !!! A simple REFRESHING and at times very EDUCATIONAL, just a walk or are they a search for a few things that may have EVOLVED from many long time United States immigrant's...
Read moreTried the weekend buffet at Kim Son Restaurant at the Saigon Plaza Houston. There's numerous images of the building so I won't add anymore here. No menu or prices posted except at the front host counter where it was written on a small piece of paper but I believe the weekend price for an adult lunch was like $19.95 with a $4.00 discount for seniors 65 and older. The selection of food was a little different from normal Asian buffets leaning more towards the authentic side. The steamed boneless cat fish pieces were probably my favorite even though I had to add some spices for flavor. Overall it was good and different but I personally feel the value of $19.95 was on the high side for a buffet with this selection. It was the weekend so it seems all buffets increase in costs for dinner and weekends by throwing some crawfish, crab, roast beef, etc into their...

I really liked the bún bò húe as it is my favorite Vietnamese dish that my mom cooks besides Pho and Bánh Canh. The crawfish was good, amazing chè(especially the strawberry milk one), and a nice street food section that I didn’t get to try. They also had a decent variety of sushi to pick from, not as much as some others that I know in Arlington but a good variety. Pretty nice place, recommend 8.5/10, you’ll be able to see for yourself when you go but I do hope that this gives you that push either way when deciding to eat...
