I was shopping at the Meyerland Houston Target on Wednesday December 4th around 6:30 pm and I wanted to make you aware about a cashier who went above and beyond. Her name is Kayla and she is an African American young lady. I was frustrated and not having a good experience but at the end her warm and kind energy, her friendliness and demeanor was beyond what her job duties are for a cashier. I wanted to let you know it is not often to find good help, I am also a retail manager and so to see performance like that when leaving the store really made my night and Iām not sure who to praise her to and Iām not sure if sheās only a seasonal employee but from being a retail manager myself, you have a good team member there and I would recommend a permanent position and if sheās not a student working just for the holidays, at least let her know she is appreciated because I have been shopping at that Target for the past 16 yearās and I have had some issues in the past with retail managers and things not being priced correctly and bad attitudes from the store managers about that issue and to see a change like that really stood out to me. Even with those bad experiences I still frequent that same store because of the products but it is so much more impactful for the consumer when you also have great employees. Target will always be a favorite store due to the products but having the employees to back up the reason to keep shopping there instead of online or looking for a cheaper deal is what will keep a loyal customer. People make the biggest difference in this world and the experiences they have in a store so I am very satisfied with that experience and please let upper management or your marketing team know this too. I will also leave a good review on google for this because I know the importance of googled analytics for any business....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love target! However I had the worst experience today. I arrived in the fitting area at 7pm to try on 2 pair of shorts. I was informed at 7pm the dressing room was closed. There was no signs out saying fitting area was closed. No announcement was made saying fitting area was closed. How are guest supposed to know the fitting area shuts down at 7pm when the store itself closes at 10pm. I asked the manager ANNALICIA, if she could make an exception being that I was the only one waiting and I was there at 7pm. ANNALICIA informed me that if she made an exception for me, she would have to make one for everyone else. The thing is there was no one waiting but me. That was a dumb generic statement to make coming from a manager. As a manager you know that sometimes you can make exceptions. The fact that I had to ask to use fitting rooms that were still open being that guest were occupying them is crazy! ANNALICIA is the prime example of giving a person that lacks people and service skills a tiny bit of power. How about uphold a policy ensuring that target guest shopping for clothing in the evening are aware of fitting room hours so we don't waste our time. You make no announcement and there is zero signage visible informing guest of a new fitting room closing time. Not until after I spoke with the uncouth manager, did the fitting room attendant place a pole that had a sign on it to block off the fitting area. By then there were 3 additional people waiting that they had to turn away. I love target and never had any issues, but I also never had to deal with manager ANNALICIA. She is rude and truly lacks empathy, but I guess she takes that fitting room policy seriously, especially when the attendants are complaining about all the items they had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you picked up your target order and your bags were all half full of loose water would you think it was intentional or an accident? Also the person who brought my stuff out complained that I arrived too soon and said āno pressureā over and over again while loading my stuff to the point where it was very uncomfortable like she was upset I got there so soon after saying I was on the way but we literally live a minute away now. When we got home and unloaded the stuff the water spilled everywhere causing my 2 year old to slip and fall because it happened so fast and we didnāt know there was water until it was everywhere and she was just trying to move because she was scared. The worst part is when I told the manager everything that happened he said someoneās bottle of water must have spilled and caused the water to be in the bags not one but several bags. Ummm we are talking like gallons of water between all the bags I had not a little bit. Some of my things were ruined and he also refused to give me a refund but thankfully target corporate did. I have no idea what happened or why but Iāve been doing pickup for years from all stores and have never had any water even on a rainy day so lots of water on a sunny clear day seems intentional to me. Also while standing waiting for the manager he was complaining about having to come and deal with me. The store clerk had to beg him over and over again to come out. He finally yelled āwhat would you do if I wasnāt hereā and then he came out. Iām just so angry that they didnāt care their negligence caused my child to slip and fall. I cannot believe how we were treated today. Iāll tell anyone who will listen this story so they donāt have to suffer the...
