The Fountain of Praise — Attraction in Houston

This is my church home!! I am a millenial and I recall my first visit like it was yesterday! I visited Easter of 2010 and left so full! The sincerity of their worship here, I knew TFOP is where God wanted me to grow! Not long after, I began attending bible studies as I worked during weekends and Wow!-- my relationship with God blossomed. With good teaching and encouragement from the Leaders, once I did my part like praying, reading, spending time in the presence of God, and volunteering with various ministries, I saw the hand of God move in my life and it's all been a spiritually elevating experience. The Pastors, Dr. Remus and Mia Wright are approachable, loving, humble and very knowledgeable of the word of God as are the ministers! TFOP is a great place to worship, grow, sow, and settle. Before making the decision to join then SPOBC, I visited a handful of other churches of varying denominations and multiracial also. By far, I've had the best experience here, at TFOP. From my initial visit, I felt the warmth of the atmosphere and the genuineness of the leadership, Pastors Remus and Mia. Their love for God and concern for His people is as evident now as it was over 20yrs ago, be it in the church, community or globally. I came to this church almost 2 years ago one Sunday to visit with my in laws, and I haven't stopped coming since. They've an awesome choir for praise and worship and Pastor Remus preaches and feeds my soul every time. At the time, I was looking for a home church that I felt comfortable and that I felt the word and spirit and that it touched and fed my soul; I found all of that here. My kids love the Rock youth church too. They preach to their age levels and about issues that they experience. They make it fun, interacting and engaging for them.
