We pre-ordered online and was told our food would be ready at 9:15, when we arrived at 9:15 nothing was ready. We did not get our food until five minutes till 10:00. The wait was excessive and unacceptable. The order was wrong and the spring rolls were burnt dark dark brown color which is not as pictured. The food was not fresh and was old as of it had been sitting on the serving line for an extended period of time. The chicken and chow mein was dry with no sauce. We could not eat the did as prepared and had to discard of it. The service was horrible the night management and staff did not know what they were doing nor were they professional in any way. They never once offered anything for the inconvenience nor explain or apologize for what they had done the problems they caused. The staff just continued to take orders without communicating with the customers. When we finally received our order we asked why did it take so long and the panda staff said the following "we gave part of your order to someone else or the wrong person in the drive thru, then we accidentally made your order wrong so we had to remake it again because it was not called out correctly by our staff, and we also had to wait for more food to be made to complete your order which caused an additional wait." All of these problems and issues were created and fault of Panda which should have never put this long of a wait nor forced this type of undue stress and hardship upon the customers. This order was completed online in advance with more than enough time to have been completed and should not have every taking this long to be made when a specific time was giving for pickup. So I decided to order inside instead of going through the drive-thru but when I tried use the restroom they told me no because it was not open to the public due to covid. So let me get this straight, you can open the restaurant to serve food and take my money but as a paying customer I can't use the restroom? So I can come in and spread my germs around the food and everywhere else, except the restroom? Make it make sense. I called and spoke with the manager Nancy, she said that they started portion control the same day I ordered my food and to bring the food back so she can see what was given. She refused to resolve the problem after I told her I am not driving 15 mins back to the store. I requested the number for corporate office. I spoke with a young man named Aaron at corporate and he apologized for the poor service I received and mailed me out a gift card. He said all Panda Express has been practicing portion control 3 years ago and the portion control didn't started on the day I ordered my food.
