First I have to say — USPS PLEASE, PLEASE READ THESE REVIEWS! I have never seen more 1 stars in my life regarding the same issue. This consistently makes life harder for me, and I’m sure others, as I make a living selling things online. If you are not going to hire employees that do their jobs then please use our tax dollars for a SSK (self serve kiosk) and package drop. I’d so appreciate it and definitely update my rating if these issues are acknowledged!
I can sum most of the issues at this location up as rude, doesn’t do her job, lazy, RUDE. As someone else said - So rude I am in disbelief!
The only postal worker that’s normally there will not get off her stool for any reason! Even to check if your mail is there. She’s so rude she will speak over you and even caught her in a lie to avoid working. She’ll refuse to read any print out with info of the delivery. I asked her nicely to advise me on shipping info from the printout and she refused to read the 1 sentence. She just kept repeating the same scripted line about shipping over me speaking. I am so embarrassed that I’ve sent visiting family/friends to this location without mentioning these issues and they came back with the same exact stories. This office is 2 blocks from my house and I will drive to the one on TC/Judiway to avoid having to deal with most of the employees here, mostly her.
I’m also unsure why there’s a postal scale for packages next to an empty wall, right when you walk in. The only after hours secure drop slots in the wall are for letters. If this location takes packages during the day, I don’t understand why it wouldn’t provide a secure after hours...
Read moreDo not go to this post office location if you have an e-commerce business. The main postal worker here has no idea how cubic shipping through the USPS works and is an overall major pain to deal with. I never have issues shipping with cubic pricing at any other USPS office however whenever I stop by this one and happen to run into her (the other postal worker with the blonde short hair is always a friendly person), it becomes a cause for debate. I have fully switched all shipping now through UPS after this final debate on cubic pricing as it makes the most sense from a sanity perspective.
Again I ship out small items through an e-commerce business and my packages are always less than 2 pounds in 6x6x6 package dimensions. According to cubic shipping pricing rules, no dimension should exceed 18 inches and total weight should be under 20 pounds. This indicates that my packages qualify for cubic shipping, which all 3rd party shipping label sites fully allow. Not sure why this particular post office gives so much effort towards being overly difficult on these types of labels.
Again stay far away from this specific office if you are an ecommerce shipper. Honestly just stay away and go to the...
Read moreI stopped by this location on January 30, 2023 at about 9:30AM to drop off a prepaid Priority package just as I've done hundreds of times. The USPS encourages people to prepay and drop off their packages saying that waiting in line isn't necessary. Just show the package to the clerk and leave it. It was my misfortune to find a person named Jackie there this morning. I politely asked if I might leave the package on the counter. There was one other person in the shop and Jackie was putting a sticker on a small package for him. She ignored me and when I repeated myself, she told me to wait my turn. I suppose that Jackie has something against old white guys or maybe she's just a cranky, rude old lady, but she's wrong about this old white guy. My only prejudice is against rude clerks. I asked if the USPS policy had been changed or if it just didn't apply to her. She said it was changed and I would have to stand in line from then on. I took the package to another post office and was told that there were no changes to the policy. I was welcome to do as I've always done. So Jackie, why did you lie? Want to deny it? I have you on film so you should probably not dig that...
