2nd and final update. Went today, got a two entree combo with 2 egg rolls and large wonton soup. Entrees were garlic shrimp and Mongolian beef. Not as spicy as I like but then, I've been known to chomp down on ghost peppers and/or Carolina Reapers.😎
Service was fast, food was affordable ( just shy of $20 for everything), and staff was pleasant as always.
Added some photos for your evaluation. What you see in the soup is homemade chili oil and sesame oil. Oh and nice large wontons, the way I like them. UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: They've gotten it together on their hours and we're able to enjoy a nice meal at affordable prices. It's cafeteria style and not too many entrees so what they serve is tasty and good options as well as very affordable. We now go at least once a week for a quick meal that is close by to us.
ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW: Very disappointed. Gone here twice and even though both the Google listing and their door sign says they are open on Sunday, they are not.
Since Sunday is the only day we have to get away, we were disappointed to find them closed, since both my wife and I love Szechuan food.
Now, we'll have to close our business early one day to come by. Don't know if it's worth it, so we...
Read moreI stopped by to pick up some food for my birthday. Glad I did! First of all, the customer service was top notch. The manager was very friendly and helpful, he even took my food to my car (we tried tons to items since I am trying to avoid Panda Express). The inside certainly does give Panda Express vibes and it's nice and clean. We ordered the following: Won Ton Soup (have not tried it yet). Crab Rangoons (Amazing). Salt and pepper shrimp (very delicious and would certainly recommend). Salt and pepper pork ribs (delicious and highly recommend). Mongolia beef (ok and would not order again). Delicious spicy chicken (I would not order again. I had high expectations and was very disappointed). Orange chicken (delicious and highly recommend. This was a hit and I would order double next time).
Con: 1.) I would order in person next time since they are always refilling the food station with fresh food once it is emptied. Our food was picked up around 12:40 PM and tasted like it was cooked a while back and was a bit dry & lacked the crunch factor. 2.) None of the dishes that were "spicy" were not spicy at all (IMO).
All in all, I’m glad we have this establishment in our area and I will...
Read moreI saw this place open recently and pass it nearly daily on my way to the gym and finally decided to stop in, not once, but TWICE in the last month. The setup and food selection is similar to Panda Express how you choose a plate that comes with a side (such as white rice, fried rice or veggies), and you choose how many meat entrees you want out of the selection they have pre-made along the counter. Some of the options here include General Tsos Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Beijing Beef, Beef and Broccoli, you know, the usual familiar dishes you find at Chinese establishments. The pricing is fairly competitive with Panda Express, but man is the food quality here dramatically better! The chicken tastes like real chicken, the sauces seem to be handmade, everything here is very fresh when I've gone. Both times I went, it was $10 or less for myself and that's very, very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food I've gotten from here. This place is definitely now a permanent staple for cheap, conveniently available Chinese food in my area, and I don't foresee myself going back to Panda Express anytime soon with these guys in...
