Thomas A. Cloud Memorial Park — Attraction in Huber Heights

It was a beautiful park however it really wasn't Handi Cap friendly & not easy for regular. The walk to the cabins was was hard on disable/elders. I had to stop 3xs before I got to cabin. You had to go back the same route to get to bathroom and walking back & fourth to get food & picnic supplies to cabin. It would have been nice if there was a drive drop off router inform customers about the distance. Was told there were electrical outlets but we couldn't find any. They should tell inquiring folks about the walk to cabin. Luckily we had a wheelchair to get the elderly & some other disables. Came in good to haul the food. Kids had fun at water park which was also up front. I requested one by it & stated I wanted to be able to watch the kids & was not told that you couldn't watch kids for distance. We didn't leave our kids unattended but the elders wanted to watch the kid play as they enjoyed them. But it was a...

This visit was great! It had been roughly 7 years since the last time we were here, and the improvements are incredible! During this visit, we were at a going away party at one of the pavilions. It was very clean and well taken care of. We made sure we left it as clean as it was when we arrived. I can't give an honest review of the water park since we didn't go to that area, but driving by, it also looked to be a very nice area for folks to cool off and have family fun together. Geared heavily toward local youth sports (soccer, baseball, and football, with basketball and tennis courts on the northern hills) and walking paths. Several playground areas, and in summer there is a large splash pad for kids. Setting is very pretty, with lots of walking/running paths throughout the park.
