The Greenhouse Florist — Local services in Hudson

Outrageously priced (even for Hudson). I went in last minute (6:45p) on Valentine's day (mind you they closed at 7pm that day) and honestly didn't expect much to be left then I saw 3 white roses left, they were pretty rough looking around the edges but with some TLC and petal removal I could see they may be worth saving.

I asked the lady how much they were and she said $7 plus each, I inquired about a discounted price due to the lateness and condition of the roses knowing they weren't going to make it to the next day... She said she had to speak with someone in the back, she returned and said she couldn't do any type of discount because of the holiday.

I politely declined and left.

I went to Giant Eagle and got a dozen (multi color longstem roses for 1/2 off (due to the time of day) with tax and such it came to $18.

And smaller business wonder why they are losing business to larger companies.

Gregg did the flowers for my wedding. I was a bit nervous because the flowers I wanted were a little unconventional for wedding flowers. I had nothing to be worried about because they were GORGEOUS. Everything about them was simply perfect. I even had my maid of honor dry them in silica gel to keep on a shadow box because I loved them so much. Delivery to the venue was painless and on time. My consultation with Gregg was amazing; he was the only florist who stopped working for a moment, gave me a tour of his space, and sat down to chat with me to make sure he understood exactly what I was looking for. The other florists I met with literally worked on funeral arrangements while we were speaking. Other florists were far less creative (trying to talk me into only white rose bouquets, shying away from cascade style bouquets).

I would recommend their floral arrangements for your wedding day! They did an excellent job with our bouquets, boutonnières, corsages for our mothers, and the alter piece. The flowers were fresh and flawless! My wedding bouquet was gorgeous! And it held up for a long day of photos, it was constructed very well! Gregg truly is an amazing florist! He spoke with me on the phone and helped to arrange the look I was wanting, it turned out better than I even imagined. I did not realize the full impact and importance of flowers for wedding day until I was in the moment that day. I am so glad we got our flowers from The Greenhouse.
