This was my second Nantasket Beach Hotel stay & first with my pup. My work was in Cambridge, MA but I wanted to stay at a place readily accessible to the ocean & this was perfect. Gretchen, Robin & the entire staff are gracious & make us feel at home right away, specifically chocolates for me & treats for Medika. The 2nd floor room above the laundry (not a problem for us!) was large & cozy, with table & chairs, comfy bed, quiet fridge & sink. The shower was terrific, with great water pressure that was a welcome reward for the unusual weather, which was...ruff :) , to say the least. The high winds & whitecaps were uncharacteristic, according to local folks I asked. Ultimately it was an opportunity for several beautifully windswept, dramatic walks along the beach & boardwalk. Overall, a lovely place. We will be back!

First impression was great, but the experience went downhill quickly. Wonderful, warm greeting, but we were directed to a complicated, not-so-well-lit back exterior staircase to haul our luggage up--yet we found out in the light if day that the front staircase would have been much more direct. The room looked nice, but the bedding was thin and the mattress not so much "firm" as downright hard. The bathroom had no exhaust fan so it was either make do or crack open a window when it was 10 degrees out. There were dodgy electrical outlets, one of which didn't work. We were only given one washcloth, but when I went to the desk in the morning to get a couple more, I got a mini lecture by the man at the desk: "We don't usually give out washcloths unless you return some first, but I'll do it 'this time'." The were really pushing no maid service. The place felt like cost-cutting was ruling the day, but we paid a premium price (over $200/night)--a hotel price for motel experience. We wound up leaving a day early even though we prepaid through Priceline. Unfortunate.

This place was absolutely amazing. The front desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful, a breath of fresh air after seven hours in the car. Got to indulge in the beach house. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, complementary snacks, and only a few minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. Lots of stuff to do within walking distance, prime location. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It's only a ten minute drive to Hingham Shipyard where you can park for $4-6/day and take a Ferry into Boston for less than the price and hassle of trying to get into the city with your own car and find a parking spot. If you're planning a beach getaway, or a road trip to the city, do yourself a favor and book this place now. It will end up being the highlight of your trip.

The hotel and room were very conveniently located in the town of Hull. The room was a partial ocean view on the second floor. It was very cute and the design was attractive and relaxing. It was clean and bigger than expected. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the kitchenette was convenient. Overall the room and experience were very good, especially for the price. The only gripe I have is that the parking lot is kind of small and cramped and just barely has enough spaces. However, beyond that, this is a charming little place that I will surely book again if I'm back in town.

Good quality for its price. We got Room 17. Taking a star out because the place is dark even with all the lights open, the wooden table is about to break down, and we almost didn't have a parking space because it was fully booked. The room was clean overall, staff friendly and it is just a minute walk from the beach. The staff did mention that we could hear noise and shouldn't hesitate to call them if needed. Indeed we did hear our neighbors upstairs but didn't mind too much. The nicest part of the beach is further out. Would still go back and stay at the same hotel next time.

This was probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The room smelled fresh, and the bed sheets smelled just so clean! The room had more of a "at home" feel with the decor - definitely not your typical cliche hotel room. The location was perfect! We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and shops. The beach is just a walk across the street. Our room had a nice view of the ocean (not exactly ocean front, but still a very nice view). I wish we had had time to rent the bikes, they looked so fun. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
