I am giving one star for my experience and a few of the items. I spent a very respectable amount to furnish my living room and bedroom in my new home only to have to deal with the absolute headaches of the delivery. The staff at the physical location were outstanding and helped me soooooo much in making my decisions. Unfortunately everything after has not been the same.
The two products I have had trouble with are the the foundry cocktail table and the foundry lamp. I had to have FOUR tables exchanged as they all showed up with HUGE cracks in the base where the slats are. It was almost as if I received the exact same table each delivery. The foundry lamp showed up with the shade hanging out and the entire lamp was crooked. It did not stand straight up. When receiving the second lamp it looked absolutely beautiful until the evening came around when I would be using it... little did I know it would not light up the room at all. The previous lamp was actually functional unlike the replacement. This is when my frustrations really sunk in as things felt like they were adding up.
After four cocktail tables, missing a few days and partial days of work to receive the cocktail table, and waiting two weeks for the new lamp I felt insanely frustrated when the claims department filed my claim on the lamp as a warranty. This was the straw that broke the camels back as I have been very understanding and have not voiced any frustration once until this point.
I continuously had to follow up as no one reached out to me to coordinate delivery. I have never asked for some sort of discount but I 100 percent did on my next purchase as I feel I am getting the complete run around. I made it very known that I was planning on purchasing many more items from Living Spaces and felt that it would be sincerely appreciated and would fix the problem. When I was told there was nothing that could be done I flipped.
I would not recommend Living Spaces to anyone. It is a complete nightmare getting your products delivered in working and new condition. I feel I like spent quite a bit of money and should not be dealing with so many issues. I do not feel valued as a customer and will never shop at living...

Living Spaces finally scheduled delivery on December 9th, almost one week prior to initially promised delivery and 4 weeks previous to revised delivery (per story below). I'm not sure whether it's a case of internal disorganization or in response to the previous bad review and I'll leave it at that.
ORIGINAL POST: I went to the Huntington Beach store to purchase a sofa + chaise combo. I was assisted by Nani, at first, but her shift ended and she turned me over to LD. (more on her soon). After looking at various models, I selected one that I liked then proceeded with the purchase. LD rang up my order and asked me to select a delivery date and time. I chose from the list shown to me December 14th 2022, between noon and 6pm, so about 2 weeks (remember that date/time). My credit card clears, no problem, I'm the proud owner of a new couch! Purchase was on November 30th, around 4:30pm.
This is where it starts to go downhill. I never received the invoice by email, so I called customer service and the saga begins:
LD is gone for the day, some rep looks up my order, confirms it and prints a receipt. When I ask why delivery date/time is marked as "Not scheduled" on the invoice, he tells me that it is because the delivery will be IN 4 TO 6 WEEKS!!!
I ask to speak to a manager who basically does not give an F that one of his employees LIED TO MY FACE ABOUT THE DELIVERY DATE AND TIME!!! Note that this would not have been an issue, I understand that logistics takes time, but WHY WOULD A SALES REP LIE FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON? Read moreOur experience on 2/11/19 at Living Spaces was amazing! The staff at the Huntington Beach store took very good care of us. It started with their very well thought out shopper friendly website. We then went to the HB store to look at a few of my "loved" items I had viewed at on line. I braced myself for the predatory nature you encounter at MOST furniture stores. This is NOT the case at Living Spaces. We were immediately greeted upon entry. It was so peaceful and relaxing. A very relaxed, enjoyable, stress & pressure free decorating experience ensued. First we met Nani. She was amazing! She took very good care of us in the dining room area. She listened to me, answered my questions, and made some suggestions. She also suggested that I make an appointment with one of their designers - specifically Tara. All stress free. Nani established a "cart " for us of the items we were interested in. She helped us with our bedroom set and took the time to make sure my husband found the perfect recliner for his 6'3" frame. Nani then introduced us to Apples in the "revive" sleep shop. Another friendly and knowledge member of their staff. We presented our concerns and apprehensions about purchasing a new mattress. Apples provided us with a very FUN, enjoyable, stress free experience, knowledge mattress shopping experience. Shout out to Melissa & Jenni for their support and testimonials. Managers Matthew & Marina closed the deal and made sure everything was set for our purchase and delivery. The entire staff was absolutely amazing!! If I could have given 6 stars, I would have. This was by far the best shopping experience I have ever had in my life. Even my husband stayed involved and enjoyed the experience. The staff is highly trained, highly customer sensitive, and highly knowledgeable and FUN to be around.
