Never come here if you actually care about your nails and the customer service care tly receive. I called for an appointment about GEL X. Now tell me why they said they can do it I go in for my appointment & the guy starts prepping my nails as regular ACRYLICS. I noticed and said why are you starting to file my nails? They donāt do that for gel X. And itās a completely different type of application process to your nails. Gel X is healthier. So I tell him hey I donāt think youāre doing gel x and thatās why I called and came in they said that you do that here. He said āgel x is expensiveā I said I donāt care I asked for that specific service for a reason. Iām from LA and the nail techs there are ARTISTS professionals so no Iām not okay with being lied to about you having a service available and the negative snappy response I got back when you didnāt do or have what I requested. DO BETTER! customers are not happy and will not be happy going to this place if you actually want your nails to look nice and clean. I mean they canāt even do nail art right? This isnāt 2010 when people only did solid colors. People WANT designs and want them done right professionally. If you canāt do it say that and Iāll leave. They proceed to mess the the shape of my nails. I asked for coffin and he gave me SQUARE so a young girl had to fix it and take over! She did amazing! I only trust young women for artist! Never coming back to a salon that claims itās a ānail spaā and cannot do nail art. I told the man I wanted my nails short he proceeds to put on medium length nails and tell me itās $10 extra after he glued them on. This place is just a scam and a joke. They try to get every dime dollar out of you for services you donāt want or didnāt ask for. Also, friendly little update Iāve never had my nails fall off in two weeks and one of my nails just fell off in half. I DIDNāT EVEN HIT MY NAIL ON ANYTHING. TERRIBLE quality of all of their products, application to the nails, and their customer service. Again, Iām a woman thatās willing to pay for quality service but I honestly feel cheated. I did not want medium length nails got charged $10 extra for that. They did not scrub off all the dead skin off of my foot even though I got a full pedicure. Iām also a woman that fully believes in tipping for services and I still tipped the woman not the man. She did a good paint job. Otherwise I hated everything about my experience here & will not be back & wanted to warn others! If you truly want quality go somewhere else! Iāve been getting acrylic nails and recently gel x for many years. Iām not stupid I just want and expect quality. Nails are not cheap but theyāre well worth it. I do modeling so point being if you are OCD and need your nails done professionally, do not go here you wonāt be happy. They are severely overpriced for the terrible quality that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came to this establishment today may 10th for soak off of my nails. I came in requesting a soak off to which i was taken to an older nail tech who sits in the back left of the salon. At this point I wasn't told of the price. The lady first clipped my nails then tried to remove and lift the nails with cuticle scissors. I pulled back in pain 3 times and she continued to attempt to pry the nail off to which i pulled my hand back stating I asked for a soak. She reluctantly went to get a bowl of cold acetone. She let them soak for 1 minute and then again attempted to pry the nail off and i pulled back stating it hurt. She claimed it was because my nail was thick. At this time the salon is empty and most techs did not have customers. During this time she offered me to have a manicure. I was willing to allow her to do more until I noticed how rough and insensitive she was to the customer. (Me) She complained that she doesn't like to soak off because it takes long. She was impatient with the soak off process. She would let me nails soak for less than a minute and pulled them out to use the nail seill. She had the nail drill set so high it was painful on my own nail. She often hit her own nail with it because she wasn't holding it steady and kept using it on my nail instead of the dip left on my nail. In the middle of the service she tells me it is 20 dollars. When she was done I still had patches of the dip i previously had all over my nails. She knew and was aware and blamed it on the nail being thick as to why she was unable to get it off. I have never paid that much for removal. I paid and then asked for who was in charge. The lady just asked to look at my hands. Never stating she was in charge. No one apologized. They continued talking about me back and forth. As the lady who did my nails came over to see what was wrong. No one spoke to me directly. I told the woman in charge that if someone comes in asking for a soak off they should assign someone who doesn't mind doing a soak off. After she removed the left over dip off my nails she hands me 5 dollars without saying anything. By far the worst customer service I have ever received! I will not ever come back and I recommend that you all do the same. Also they don't have the prices listed on the website or anywhere visible in the shop. If I could give zero stars i would. My nails are still in pain after receiving this poor job.
Edit: My nails are painful and red. Showering with warm water very pain. It's also painful doing simple tasks for my patients. They also failed to remove some of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was the worst nail salon experience and pedicure that I've ever had. I wish I had read the reviews first.
I called ahead because my normal nail salon was closed. The staff was friendly and polite.
I got there and immediately noticed the towel looked dirty and the plastic bowl liner was already wet. I should have left then. I brought it up to the staff. Several times he was more focused on upgrading me to a more expensive package over the quality of his work.
When he took my old gel polish off, the buffer hurt the sides of my nails. When he filed my nails, it hurt. He also hurt the soft part of my heel when he tried to scrape. It wasn't rough on that spot.
I told him each time "ouch" which I'm not used to happening. As soon as he put product and water on my feet, all the edges of my toes and several places on the bottom of my feet and heels were burning. He must have cut through layers of my skin. I've never been hurt during a pedicure or cut by a file or scraper, much less multiple places on my feet. He was rough and careless with my skin.
When he filed and shaped my nails, he left them pointy and sharp. He left them uneven and not uniform. The polish is transparent in some areas and almost all of my toes have paint in the edges and caked at the cuticles. He didn't cut enough off or paint carefully. I had him fix several toes but he basically just scraped polish off making it uneven. There is no glossy top coat. It looks dull. It definitely doesn't look like a professional did my nails.
When I got done, my feet were burning and several areas were red. They still hurt the next day.
After reading other reviews and my experience, I feel like they are careless and hurt people on purpose. I'm now concerned about infection or other diseases due to unsanitary and unprofessional business practices.
My friend had the exact same experience as we came at the same time.
I'm really hoping this experience doesn't affect my health.
I spent $68 for a gel pedicure that looks very sloppy. I'm dealing with abrasions. I can't easily remove the polish or fix their work. I'll be requesting a full refund and will update after I speak to the business today. I'll also be making a visit to my dermatologist and hope and pay all is well...
