They sneak in up charges, apologies if I missed it in the menu. They charged more for mayo, raw onions and also upcharged for credit card use. They charge $5 for an extra patty and 3.50 for about 2 oz of chip dip. They forgot to add bacon to one of our burgers and they served 2 warm beers and let us pour them in frosted glasses. They did ask if it was ok to do but that shouldn't be a question. Do you want a room temp beer? It took a very long time to get the food and the smash burger seems smaller than a Wendy's single. I know cc fees are now being passed to the customers in places but forget that. It's cost of doing business. So raise your food prices and then pass the fee to us? More profits to them. People wonder why they can't keep businesses anymore. This was my 3rd and final time there. Had a dry Cubano last time. The pork was just like shredded pine tree bark and it was a small sandwich and chips for 13$. Rent aside, food still doesn't cost that much when purchased in bulk. What's your profit margins? This is a nice restaurant. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This restaurant allows you to choose your own seating, so I sat at the restaurant’s outdoor terrace area. I got a lemonade with no ice, which tasted good, and the Margherita flatbread pizza, which also tasted good. The pizza had a little bit of basil and large tomatoes on it. I misread the menu and didn’t realize the flatbread pizza came with large tomatoes, so if I come here again I’d get the walleye basket, which is fresh walleye served with french fries, which sounds very enticing. My table also had a bottle of hot sauce, which was quite good. While I found it mildly spicy, it was very flavorful, which I liked. It greatly enhanced the Margherita pizza. We visited the Pier Pub last Sunday after taking a Monster River Boat tour. Unfortunately there was a guest at the bar that had a little too much to drink and singing pretty badly along with the outdoor musician. Our service really lacked this day, we had to wait a long time to order appetizers, and when they arrived we had no plates or silverware to eat them on. After about 15 minutes we were able to snag them and then our food came out at the same time. Seemed like our server was also managing the bar and we had to wait for drink refills and our check. We realize things get busy but we were really ignored. We had looked at reviews prior to coming so that is why we chose to eat here. Must have hit on a bad day, but...
