I would have Rate this particular Cavender's a 5 star but because of the experience received by the assistant manager (Courtney Eden) it deserves lower than 1 star is possible. She was extremely rude, I have no idea was she was upset or had an attitude. I left my hat to be fixed as informed to the gentleman that was their. Upon my return he left for the day and my hat was not fixed at all not even close to what I asked for. Well I am waiting for over 10 mins to see if someone was going to come and no one showed up. So I went to ask for help a nice lady helped me and she called the manager to see if someone can fix my hat. When the assistant manager shows up (her first words are no one is here to fix your hat so I can't help you with that) come on really I can't even tell her anything withint her already having attitude! I don't understand they messed up my hat and I asked her what can you do than since my hat is messed up. (She said I already told you nothing) says it was an attitude again! Honestly don't steep to someone level that is not happy with their jobs or just an ugly person in general. If she worked for me I would re-train her or let her go.
She needs to be demoted and earn her position again if she changes highly doubtful but I'll pray you change how you treat and talk to others. (Because some of us won't let things like that slide and publish it for people can know who they are doing...
Read moreTerrible service today. Went in to buy a hat, but the hats in stock are filthy so I waited in line to have one cleaned only to find it defective. I was asked to select another hat so I did but upon returning to the hat counter "Don" the million dollar sales buckle wearing hat guru, had left the station and me to fend for myself. So I flipped the switch and waited another 10 minutes before someone showed up but by then the counter was full of people so I waited in line a 2nd time. By this time 40 minutes had past by and I had 3 new people in front of me. I left pissed off and even called the store asking to speak to the manager as I left the parking lot. The manager couldn't care less so I hung up on him and went to the SW Fort Worth location (Hulen) where I always get excellent service.
If you go to the SW Fort Worth store, I highly recommend Marco and Michael and yes, I did end up buying a hat. I have been to Cavenders locations all over the state. I have been a customer for years and the Hurst location is by far and away the WORST service of ANY western store I've ever been to despite the excellent service of the other Cavenders locations. I don't know what their problem is but they need to sort themselves out post haste. That location has lost my patronage...
Read moreThey can’t be bothered too much to answer questions and then when they do, the manager won’t move from his spot where he and other sales associates are texting. I looked at a pair of boots that fit perfectly and wanted to buy them. Obviously, they had been worn before and scuffed up. At no point did they ever deny they had been in words or denial and offered 10% off. Wow....I had to physically take them to the front where said manager who won’t move from his spot to text said again with disdain. “10% is the best I can do.” Still denying they weren’t new and girlfriend ready to buy, I left them. They are rude and about as customer driven as the DMV. I’ll go to boot barn, buy them new and not used and lied to about boots scuffed and marked up lied to as new. They only time we were engaged as should be is when money was about to be exchanged, then had a bar fly looking associate all over us. She had on mid driffnblouse and looked tacky. I’m a guy that won’t conplain about skimpy dressed ladies(except when that blouse should’ve been given up ten years prior.)
This place isn’t the place to go. Even amazon cares more then this place. This is why they went from a giant store to a crappy small one. They aren’t customer driven. They don’t...
