I've ordered from here plenty of times, mostly for delivery because they are office orders. I always try to keep an open mind with these things but these are important thing I have learned about this location's services over the past few months:
They always mess up your order in some way. Today, my bowl had no black beans. Most days, we don't get the sauce that we ordered or we are missing items in the things that we have ordered: queso (which is EXTRA), garlic (small but noticable), the correct kind of lettuce, etc.
You pay extra for things that they don't give you enough of. For example, if I order queso on my bowl, there won't be enough added (and sometimes NONE at all!). Same for sour cream, which is an odd thing to charge extra for. One time, I had to order a kids meal bowl, and it wasn't even HALF of their normal bowls. I'd say 1/4 and they didn't even remember to add the juice box!
I've learned that even if you want to tip for the service, it's conflicting because Doordash isn't the problem.
Since this is through Doordash, getting a refund for items on your delivery is next to impossible.
5 The only compliment that I will give is that everything seems fresh (at least when ordered around lunch time). I've never been inside of this store location, so I can't actually speak for those who have had bad experiences regarding freshness.
I'm just tired of getting messed up orders and having to pay for services that obviously need improvement. Human error is a thing, but I'm paying the fees to have something delivered to me correctly. So, please train your employees to pay attention and perhaps have someone double check the online orders. I'm going to take this restaurant off of our list of places to order from... Which is sad because I enjoy the food when...
Read moreLove Freebirds, but sad to say I've been dissatisfied recently. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so this is a great place to get the Beyond option for us! I'm omni, and enjoy the Beyond myself, even getting it half the time I go. Recently the Beyond has been SUPER dry though. I understand that it's not as popular, therefore not as freshly prepared...but it was so bad the last time we went that our Beyond bowls were literally. Literally. Crunchy. Because they had been kept too long. I was so excited and went on Veteran's day as a vet, even though there wasn't a deal for me that day and could have gone elsewhere for a free dinner. Like I said, love Freebirds. But was so let down when I took that beautiful first bite and had to spit out chunks of dried potato and tough crunchy Beyond crumbles. I still ate it, and kept the trash bag nearby as I had to spit and eat around it with each bite. This was a great place to go to, but extremely apprehensive to come (at least to this location) again :(
So I'm still giving FOUR stars (I think generously here), and would be happy to change to five if they could have a little more diligence...I don't expect fresh prepared Beyond just for us everytime, but surely there is a solution Freebirds?
The service was exceptional, and I wish I remembered the gentleman's name who was...
Read moreThe service here is fast and friendly, with many options to choose from. This is a fairly standard build your own burrito/burrito bowl concept, but with more than the typical options for dietary restrictions. For starters, let's talk low carb. There are options such as their low carb tortillas, and cauliflower rice. For gluten free options, you could get a burrito bowl. For vegetarian, I recommend a combination of their rice, beans, and fajita veggies. For sauces, they have the typical pico, red salsa, and green salsa options. They also have a selection of bottled sauces in squirt bottles to check out. For those without dietary restrictions, you'll be delighted to know that they offer the usual favorites such as queso. Additionally, spanish rice is an option if you've grown bored of the usual white or brown rice options provided by competitors. The atmosphere is rather interesting as well. It takes the approach of a minimalist version of a classic american diner, with wood paneling and brick on the walls, travel imagery in the decals, and motorcycles hung from the ceiling to complete the effect. Overall, this restaurant offers a very familiar taste and feel while going the extra distance to provide a number of options not usually available elsewhere. I highly...
