I cannot believe this lovely little park called Garden of the Phoenix is here for all to enjoy. It is very pretty and so quiet. We found parking near 5900 S. Stoney Island then walked East for 6 minutes. We also walked along the paths and saw the museum nearby. There is a busy street, so be careful.

Bad bad bad experience!!! Everyone rushy rushing because it’s busy and not caring if the customer is more inconvenienced. Bad / horrible customer service here at Midway! First car tire was pressure was way off second car Had blow out and then come the amusing part …. Had to call my own AAA to get the donut exchanged or be charged when it wasn’t my fault and I was already inconvenienced by the first car I was given but ok after 2 hrs AAA came and then I called to see about exchanging the third car because who wants to ride around on a doughnut when you have the car till Monday and today is Friday. At the airport, I specifically told the young lady I was exchanging the car however when I returned the car, they closed out my rental agreement (rushing And not paying attention to the customers and causing more inconvenience) Had to stand in line for almost 2 hours because it was so packed and crowded and busy finally get the third car and then I can’t leave out of the garage because the rental agreement now is all jacked up because of all the cars that have been added to the rental agreement. Actually had to wait another hour and 20 minutes before they try to get that straightened out because the person who exchanged the car also had the destination for Midway when that wasn’t the correct destination(again RUSHING). So after 7 hrs of trying to get the tire exchange trying to get the car exchange I threw up in the air or should I get a free day since I’ve been inconvenience and had to go through all this on Wednesday and on today, Friday? 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗(CRICKETS) . Most of all the encounters on today made me feel like I was the problem or I created the problem or it was my problem and I just think that’s very unfair and causes them not to be efficient in customer service and I’ll never Rent from Avis’s or budget again and I put out this message to those who are listening. I suggest you don’t either this company does not care about customers and they don’t care if the customer is inconvenience for their betterment or for their gain And that’s not a company you should stand behind or spend your money with especially during these times! Stay Away From this Company and seek...

We went ice skating. After an hour+ wait in the cold (it was a scheduled group activity) we finally got skates and were able to get onto the rink. We had a great time (because of the people we were with) but the attendance and line management from the Park District was NOT organized. We knew there would be timed-entrances, masks required and social distance skating....all of which was not a problem...but the rink size could have easily accommodated 40-50 people instead of 30 people; half of which were hanging on the way. We hope to go back under different...

This is a good place to relax alone or with a group. There's plenty of space for whatever outdoor activity fits your fancy. It sits directly in the middle of the University of Chicago and provides views that are very nice and peaceful. What makes this park great however are the mostly free events that are held throughout the year. During the summer the Chicago Park District holds movies, dancing, concerts, the list goes on. During the winter they have hockey and ice skating. They also provide a calendar and list of events on...
