Went to field for the first time in 7 years, after walking in I saw the huge portions of french fries so ordered them before finding a seat. I unfortunately stepped aside so others could place their order, the cashier handed what I think were my fries to the person that ordered after me. I then stood there and watched another batch be cooked and handed away to other customers. When I realized I would have to watch yet another batch be cooked (instead of enjoy the game) I asked for my money back. I was told they didn't know how to return money. When I finally did receive my fries and the outside had time to cool, the inside of the fries were not cooked and the outside was saturated with the oil. I tossed them out... and realized I should have just walked away from the $2.50 I had paid. There is no timer set to control the cooking time of large batches of french fries that they cook, they break them apart in an attempt to determine the desired outcome. As I stood there and observed I also noted a young lady eating french fries while wearing gloves and serving food. In my opinion after standing their for a good 20 minutes.... is that patrons should stick to the prepackaged foods, snow cones and popcorn, and purchase cooked foods before or after...
Read moreMy mother lives behind Melaleuca field. The balls sometimes go over the fence, we have had broken windows and on one occasion a child was actually hit, by the Grace of God he wasn't badly hurt. In the past when we have approached the administrators. they were very rude and unapolagetic, they told us we should expect such things living behind a ballfield, even though our house has been here longer than the field . There isn't much parking for the fans, so all during the Baseball Season living in the neighborhood can be exasperating, if you don't beat the fans to your neighborhood you cannot park, and I mean " no parking anywhere near your home". I love Baseball, and I am glad to have the team in our town. I don't pretend to have a solution to these problems, however it would help tremendously, if the Administration we're not so rude and unmoved by the very real problems. In short the Ballfield is an asset I think most of us enjoy for the most part, however the administrators leave a whole lot...
Read moreEverytime we go to a game, we never end up staying through the whole thing. The last time we went (August 19th) we stayed for literally 15 minutes and left because there was no where to sit in general seating because so many were either spread out of saving seats. I don't think we will go back. It's just not fun to stand and look for seats the whole time. Plus, when your essentially standing in a walk way, even towards the back of the walkway (not in the way of people) people still get mad and make comments about you standing there and a girl who was obviously intoxicated spilled her nachos on my son when she tripped and yelled at him for "standing in...
