The Trigo Bakery — Restaurant in Idaho Falls

This cookie kind of looks like a treat for a child, so delightful. However, this rainbow sprinkle bedecked cookie is a crunchy mix of butter sugar and a tiny hint of pepper. It is delicious and I wish I had purchased a dozen!

I love little places like this and my family ordered nearly one of everything. Mexican pastry has a European flavor in that it's not as sugary as American palettes are used to, but we love trying new things and loved everything. Homemade chocolate croissant?! Who doesn't like that?

Their donuts are absolutely delicious! We were looking for donuts while driving from Pocatello back to Montana. This was one of the only bakeries that happened to be open. They told us what was in their case was all that was leftover, but the donuts looked great so we took a dozen to go. Sooo tasty, fluffy, well balanced with the perfect amount of sweetness, and just one was enough to be filling. These were the best donuts my husband and I have had in a very long time and when ever we are on our way through Idaho Falls this will be a definite stop to try more...

A fellow employee of mine brought in some cream filled Churros from Trigo Bakery. I am not always a huge fan of churros and when it comes to things like donuts, I really am not a fan of cream filled. However, these churros were amazing and the cream inside did not distract from the flavor but added to the experience. I haven't tried anything else from this bakery, but after eating these churros I would definitely go back to try...
