IRB Chairs — Attraction in Indian Rocks Beach

Today I was over at IRB and there were some men flying a drone around my children and I that made us very uncomfortable. These men were sitting right next to us. I went up to one of the IRB chairs employees and asked for help seeing as I was very uncomfortable and scared. The one guy watched and the other employee I never caught his name came directly up to me and asked very loudly “ Are you the one that complained about the gentlemen flying the drone?” I very quietly said “ I was trying to be discreet” he loudly again said” I am being discreet I can’t help you or do anything but I can give you the county’s number to give them a citation. “ as I look around many people are watching as this unfolds. I’m sure the men and the women that were flying the drone RIGHT NEXT TO US could hear everything as well.y sister and I have never felt more uncomfortable in our life. Day 1 - the sign stated they had chairs, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. Asked for 2 lounge chairs. He said they didn’t have those. He didn’t specify if they were out for the day (it was early afternoon) or if they only had chairs. He didn’t even stand up or take his earbuds out. Day 3 - we wanted an umbrella only. No one was available to give us one. So after waiting for 15-20 mins, we call the number online. He said he’d be right there. Once he arrived, he tells us we need to move our things because the umbrellas can only be used near the hotels. We declined as we weren’t interested in sitting a mile back from the ocean. He offered us a cheaper umbrella for the same cost to stay where we were. We declined. Why pay the same amount for a flimsy umbrella. Just back from our experience at Indian Rocks Beach and our interaction(s) with the guys at IRB Chairs. We had such a good time at the beach today. We were unaware of the call-ahead or online registration, plus the fact that we are in the full season of Spring Break and as we arrived at around 9:30 AM, there were no available cabanas or umbrellas.

Our name was taken for the waiting list, and we were offered a couple of patio chairs to use until there was an available unit. Within minutes, one of the guys walked to where we were sitting and advised us that he had a cabana for us. He told us that he had a unit within a few steps of our current position. He said he had moved some things around, and he didn't want us to have to move ALL of our stuff a long distance.
