We have had many fantastic meals from the crew at Groupers! Betty, her husband and their 3 boys took over Groupers almost a year ago ago man are they doing it right. Such a wonderful local addition to our neighborhood and a great place for our visitors to eat too. Cuban- amazing homemade pulled pork on it. THE BEST. Sandwhich was so huge that I ate it again for lunch today and couldn't believe it but dare I say it was even better reheated!! Wings- Bomb. They bake them.. I think we had their original seasoned, can't wait to try more. They have a few flavors to choose from. Clam Chowder- got it to surprise. my hubby who loves clam Chowder. Delish, great clams in it. I place it above PJ'S! Plus they ahve great hot sauce and oyster cracks corn the side. 😋😋 Potatoes Skins- Hot and fresh and gooey cheeseeeee Tacos- Loved them. So fresh- they have a few meats to choose from with all the fixings! If you know a good street taco this is it The family and local employees really set a nice vibe for me. Their family restaurant means a lot to have here and I am so lucky to be so close to enjoy as I will be eating there often. Much worth our support and appetites 😋 Can't wait to eat my way through more...

Tucked away in a corner of a shopping Plaza, this place is a hidden gem. Small local family owned and operated spot with room at tables inside for less than 30 customers. Bar area with around 12 more stools and good collection of craft beers and cocktails at good prices. We went for family dinner and seafood and were not disappointed. Ordered daily special some very tasty Jamaican Jerk chicken wings order of 5 for $6 and coated in a sweet-heat jerk sauce, served hot and meaty. Wife and one daughter ordered daily special Blackened salmon served over creamed corn base (cheesy and creamy) and they loved it. Two more kids got Fried Grouper bites and fries with slaw they agreed their favorite Grouper they ever had. Last child got the smash burger cheeseburger and fries, she loved it. I had the blackened Grouper tacos served with Cole slaw, 2 good sized tacos ($13., option of 3 for $17) with perfectly cooked fish. Pitcher of local craft beer a Golden Lager was only $17. Great food at great prices with good family owners made for a great dinner....

This family-owned spot is a great addition to Indian Rocks. There is maybe 6 tables inside, a small bar and ample seating outside. The menu is limited but has something tasty for everyone. Three of us started with the excellent $5 clam chowder (trying the $5 lobster bisque next time). My guy and I shared three pork street tacos ($7) which were excellent. Others ordered grouper sandwiches with chips & coleslaw and the grouper bites served with garlic bread & coleslaw ($11 each). All six of us agreed their lunch was excellent.

The menu includes wings, potato skins, nachos and smoked fish spread. If you want a salad, choose between a Caesar or wedge. Plus there are mussels, cajun shrimp, grouper tacos, grouper reuben, Cuban sandwich - perfect bar menu for me! The bar our choice of soda, draft beer, bottled beer, sangria & wine.

The restaurant is located in a strip mall with free on-site parking. The owners/staff are friendly and showed their appreciation for our business.

Food was incredibly salty, almost inedible. I had the grouper tacos. Ingredients and toppings are not listed in the extremely small menu, so I had to pick off the ingredients I'm allergic to (wish I had known in advance). Service is mediocre at best. I dined in on a Tuesday evening which was very slow, however the 2 small tacos took 35+ minutes to cook. The lighting is too bright for a restaurant, felt more like a warehouse and no music playing so it felt awkward that everyone could hear one another's conversations in this small place. I tried both the red and white sangria, both fine but no wow factor. Overall not a welcoming experience and everything about this place is just meh. Groupers on the Gulf feels as if someone with absolutely zero experience in the restaurant industry wanted to open a restaurant but has no passion for a good experience, good ingredients, good service, or really anything different from below average & bland. Big disappointment.

Swung by here for lunch yesterday on a whim and I was glad I did! I was torn on what to order so I did a double order of 2 Fried Grouper Tacos and their Cuban Sandwich with fries. I loved the decor which had a sea type/seascape vibe with a few tables outside, a few tables inside and a small bar. I had one taco and 1/2 of the sandwich and while both were delightful, the main event was the pork on that Cuban! It was sooooo tender and juicy that I wish I was able to eat the whole sandwich! I spoke to the husband and wife as they were very nice and welcoming. Their is a parking lot with enough spaces and do look forward to coming back in the near future!
