Laughing Lizard Bed and Breakfast — Attraction in Indian Rocks Beach

We were a group of 9 in town for a retreat. The Laughing Lizard was the perfect place to land! Greg was an excellent host, communicative (even though he and his wife were out of town on their own getaway!) during the reservation process, The person putting on the retreat is in California so that made it even that much more fun! Part of the group came in early and upon arrival, they had homemade truffles (best ever!!) in the refrigerator waiting for them! We stayed in the Lizard's Lair, the main house, that consists of 4 bedrooms/4 baths on 3 levels..all baths ensuite and an in house elevator to take you (and your stuff!) from ground level up! Well stocked kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and with 8 women working around the kitchen...the space to do so as well! The beach is right across the street and the street is easy to cross. You can walk wherever you want to...multiple restaurants, the best French cafe, grab a cocktail...whatever you want to do, the Laughing Lizard is perfectly situated to take advantage of all the area has to offer. The best beach vacation ever!! The perfect place for a family. We had 4 generations from 14 to 78 years old. We rented the entire house with 7 bedrooms and 7 baths. There are quite a few steps, but the house has its own private elevator. That was great for the older generation. We all were able to find something that we enjoyed every day no matter the age. The house has everything you could ever need, including beach towels, tents, coolers, and a cart to take everything to the beach. There were 3 sets of washers and dryers (including detergent) so you can always have fresh clothes and towels. The kitchen was wonderful if you wanted to cook, or there were restaurants just across the street that were very good. Walmart and Publix were only a short drive away. There was also a charcoal grill with plenty of charcoal and lighter. The beach was beautiful and not too crowded. Greg, the owner, was always on call if you needed anything at all. He couldn't have been better. We give it a 5-star rating and would give more...
