I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Café de Paris Bakery in Indian Rocks Beach, and I can confidently say it’s a true hidden gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to a charming Parisian café, complete with the warmest hospitality and the most authentic French flavors.
The food is nothing short of exceptional. I had the pear salad and crepes, and both were simply divine—fresh, beautifully balanced, and made with clear attention to detail. The crepes were light, delicate, and perfectly executed, while the salad was an elegant combination of flavors that left me savoring every bite. Every dish here is crafted with passion and precision, making it clear that this isn’t just a bakery—it’s a place where food is truly an art form.
And let’s talk about the pastries—wow! The croissants are flaky, buttery perfection, reminiscent of those you’d find in a Parisian boulangerie. The selection of fresh-baked goods is incredible, and it’s clear that only the finest ingredients are used. Pair one with a beautifully brewed coffee, and you have yourself a breakfast that’s simply unforgettable.
Beyond the incredible food, the ambiance is warm, inviting, and effortlessly charming. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick pastry and espresso or sitting down for a leisurely breakfast, you’re greeted with an atmosphere that feels like a little slice of France. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. De Marchi, are truly wonderful people—gracious, welcoming, and passionate about sharing their love of French cuisine with their guests. Their hospitality made the experience even more special, as they took the time to chat with us about travel, food, and their journey in creating this incredible café.
It’s rare to find a place where every detail is so thoughtfully curated—from the food to the ambiance to the warm and genuine service. Café de Paris Bakery is, without a doubt, one of the best cafés I’ve had the pleasure of visiting.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit. If you love authentic French pastries, exceptional coffee, and a dining experience that feels both cozy and world-class, you will absolutely fall in love with Café de Paris Bakery.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Read more3.5 stars. Cute little place, atmosphere inside is spot on. We went at 9am and it was packed. May have to wait for a table if dining in. We ordered crepes and various pastries. Waited about 15-20 mins for the crepes. The raspberry eclair/cream puff was probably the best of the pastries. I didn’t love the cannoli, not sweet enough and had an almond extract flavor to it. The pastry cream in the fruit tart tastes like pre-packaged donut filling, not real homemade pastry cream. All fruit was fresh and ripe! Tasted the chocolate croissant and it was chewy instead of crispy, like it needed to be warmed/toasted. I was a bit turned off by the appearance of the crepe at first (they are buckwheat, hence the color) but the flavor more than redeemed it. I got goat cheese & honey & highly recommend. It didnt need the sun-dried tomato garnish. We also got an iced americano & an iced chai latte. The Americano was very small & tasted burnt at first but got better. The chai was a bit too sweet, I prob shouldve added a shot of espresso. Husband got the spinach quiche and it was pretty good, but pastry also couldve been crispier. Overall recommend, but would prefer Pipo & Betty’s for fresh baked pastries & their...
