Northern Lights Salon — Attraction in Inver Grove Heights

I brought my daughter (7) in for a bang trim because I didn't want to drive 20 minutes to our regular salon and Northern Lights was only 5 min from our house. Her bangs are so uneven now, even after I had asked the stylist to fix it three times. I honestly think I could have done it better. There are long spots, the whole thing is kind of choppy, and her bangs are now slanted as well. I'd be hesitant to trust the stylist could make a whole head of hair even when bangs were a struggle.

Update: I was impressed with Northern Lights Salon's customer service and follow-up. After I wrote my review the salon owner, Laura, reached out to me and was apologetic for our experience at her salon. She invited us back so she could personally fix what happened. We chose to take her up on it a couple weeks later so my daughter's bangs could grow out a bit. I'm a nonbinary person and I came her specifically for a stylist who seemed to be really good at gender neutral curly cuts from what I could tell online. I asked for a layered wolf cut and instead was given a bob and my curls haven't looked as good as usual since. We've had a great experience both visits and plan to return the next time we need a haircut, braid updo, wax, or hair tinsel! They were able to squeeze me in for a braid the morning before I went to give birth to my baby and they lasted multiple days through labor & recovery!
