My daughter made an appointment to dye her hair at "Treat a Salon and Spa," and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I cannot express how disappointed I am with the so-called "service" we received at this salon.
First and foremost, my daughter's hair ended up being a complete disaster after our visit to "Treat a Salon and Spa." We had asked for a simple blonde dye, and what we got was a nightmarish mishmash of colors. Her hair was unevenly colored, and it looked like a chaotic blend of blonde, red, and black in various spots. It was disgustingly dyed, and it was evident that the stylist had no clue what they were doing. The result was a burned mess that was nowhere near what we had initially requested.
The unprofessionalism displayed by the staff is beyond belief. The very next day, I came to the salon with my daughter to seek a refund for the horrendous work they had done. However, instead of acknowledging their mistake and taking responsibility, they had the audacity to insist that their work was of high quality. They were not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude. It's clear that they have absolutely no concern for their reputation or the satisfaction of their customers.
To make matters worse, we were left with no choice but to urgently find another specialist to fix and restore my daughter's hair. Thankfully, we were able to rectify the situation, but it came at an additional cost. We had to pay another salon for a completely new service just seven days after our disastrous visit to "Treat a Salon and Spa."
They charged us more than $400. I'm also including the name of the so-called "master" (Sally) with her business card attached, although I get the impression that all their names are made up))"
In conclusion, they ruined my daughter's hair, provided appalling service, and showed no accountability for their mistakes. Save your time, money, and sanity by avoiding "Treat a Salon and Spa" like the plague. It's a complete waste of your hard-earned money, and you deserve better than the nightmare we...
Read moreI came to town and on short notice wanted to get a quick mani/pedi. The reviews for Treat, a Salon and Spa, and location near where I was staying, made it easy to call them. The receptionist was so kind and offered me a few options for a Mani/Pedi with one technician or offered if I wanted both services at the same time. I had my appointment within the hour. Upon arriving, the friendly welcome was kind. The boutique salon has a few hair stations and a few Mani/Pedi stations. I knew the service would also be boutique level and it did not disappoint. I was able to get right in, on time, for my appointment. They offered me their menu of different services levels and when I selected my choices, they did not push to upsell me, which I appreciate. Tina did my pedicure and was so kind. Checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied. Her foot massage was heaven. Amy did my manicure and was so accommodating. She took her time and had meticulous attention to detail. I was so relaxed and pampered and didn't feel rushed at all. I had a great experience and will be back next time I'm back in town. Side note, this salon is in The Park area. It is across from the Spectrum in this adorable shopping and residential village and next to the salon is a Starbucks. Perfect to grab a coffee and enjoy your services. Tips in Cash is noted so bring cash when you go to show your application to the great services providers. ...
Read moreExpensive for the minimum service they have... The chairs r nice. 🙄They dont do cuticles for the manicure, they charge another $15 for that, which is ridiculous, they push them back if asked to, thats it... Same for the feet... Calluses cost extra $$...break down: basically what the 45$ mani/pedi charge is, file, shape and a mini hand massage&paint em. (Oh and i had to ASK THEM TO PUSH THE CUTICLE BACK, that isnt sumthing they do without being prompted.) I even brought MY own polish and they almost charged me for that... brought my own decals too & they charge another $12 for that! Thats ridiculous! So ya the ppl are nice, the place is nice; although it was a hot day and they had all the doors open but not AC going so it got sticky in there which sucked. What i thought would cost me 45 ended up costing 70 cuz i went for my calluses mainly but that isnt including the tip so 80 buck and i left very unhappy about the service i got, for that much i shoulda been able to get the wraps i wanted... Except only 1 tech does those and she left early! So i dont recommend this place if u r like me and think that 15 and 12 r way to high a pricetag for things they should include in the base price. If u got $ to blow, this is definitely the place that'll help u do just that. Wont...
