Moose and I visited this dog park today and we give it a 5/5 stars 🤩

We've been exploring the entirety of the Jax area to find new places where Mooey can run around, play, and socialize. So far, this has been the best dog park on our list!

The actual dog park is located on the opposite side of where the actual playground area and sports amenities are located. We only came for the dog park for obvious reasons, but from what I could tell, there's a whole lot of other things available to the public as well. They even have a skate park which I think is really cool considering I haven't seen very many around town.

The dog park itself is separated into two sections: Large dogs and small dogs. Both sides seemingly have a vast area for pups to play and lay, along with water stations and waste stations located throughout. There are numerous seats and picnic tables available for owners to relax and keep an eye on their pets as they roam free.

The only thing is this location is quite far from where Moose and I live, but I would say it's worth the visit! I also didn't get many photos, but enjoy Moose (da pittie) playing with some new friends!! The pets and the people were all very friendly and at the end of the day, you get a tired and happy pup :)

P.S. If you are planning to visit, please just make sure you clean up after yourself and your dog(s) during your visit to keep the park as well-maintained as it seems. Also be sure to always be mindful of what your pet is doing, accidents can still happen. So, let's all be responsible owners...

2nd Update: I'm very surprised by the actions that have been taken by management to change the atmosphere of the park. The maintenence people are no longer rude and are respectful. The park seems to have a more standardized cleaning schedule and it seems to be getting cleaned more often. I always recommend keeping an eye on your dog if you come to ensure the safety of all other dogs and your own. Update from my review 6 months ago: Maintenence men there are petty and rude. They close the parks from time to time and when you ask for information, the manager always has something rude to say back. He is much ruder to the women that come and has a really nasty potty mouth. Not professional at all. My little Pongo loves the Ed Austin Dog parks. There are always nice people there to chat with. I love that they have the pools out at both the small dog park and the big dog park for owners to fill up for their pups on those hot days. Water stations are set up around the parks for dogs to hydrate and cool off as well. People leave their tennis balls for other dogs to play with, which is nice. I donate 2 balls every now and then because I know that they wear down after a while. Owners don't always pick up their dog's poop, which stinks (literally). Bags are provided towards the front of the...

Probably the biggest big dog park I've ever been to. It was pretty nice people have brought in table and chairs all around the park so there was places to sit around you could tell it was a social park. Did I mention it was big? It's pretty deep and wide, there were many dogs there but there was plenty of room to roam and get off by yourself if you wanted everybody I met there was friendly including the dogs. It does suffer from the same affliction that most other dog parks suffer from and that's people just don't pick up after their pets. It's a shame too I guess they don't ever think they're going to come back again. I love their sign please pick up after your pet and help with orphan dog poop! People are so disrespectful. The trail around the perimeter was not too bad but if you ventured off toward the middle it was a minefield! I guess because the park was so big is why there was so many piles of poop. It really is pretty nice other than that there was a giant osprey nest in one of the power line towers I was able to get a couple of shots of and watched for a little while while the doggies played. This review is just for the dog park we did not use any other of the facilities this regional park had to offer. I did notice there was even poop in the park on the way to the dog park entrance, people are...
