Cliffs Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Ordered online one it only options is doordash. Got there at the later time that the app said that my food would be ready and I had to basically approach somebody to acknowledge me for her to tell me that they called me and they didn't have chicken tenders that went on one of the salad so they didn't make anything else in my order because they didn't know if I was still want it, because it was missing chicken tenders on a salad I reiterate. So she said okay it'll be about 12 minutes you know because we have to make the order okay no problem. I sat down at a table. 30 minutes past and I see other people getting their food while I'm just waiting patiently so I get up and everybody ignores me when they walk past me but glances at me afterwards knowing that I'm waiting. Finally I heard someone say I'm going to go check on it and I received my food at approximately 35 minutes after I arrived. I get home because I live right around the corner and I'm missing the fries that were supposed to come with the food. The food is mediocre but the service is even worse. When I placed my Togo order I asked for no tomatoes on my salad because I’m allergic get home and my salad is covered in them ordered a regular burger for my daughter plain and it came with blue cheese on it didn’t ask for or want blue cheese so I now have $30 worth of food that had to be thrown away

No I did not call the restaurant because I live 20 minutes away and your restaurant is on my way home I wasn’t going to come back out and drive another 40 minutes a refund also wasn’t in the cards because it was paid for with cash I shouldn’t have to waste gas for the restaurant to fix a mistake when it was written clearly on the kitchen ticket also food allergies are a serious matter and if I had eaten the salad prior to seeing the tomatoes I would have ended up in the hospital so don’t try and make me look like the bad guy because I didn’t call the restaurant and complain when I had to throw away $30 worth of food and ate canned ravioli for dinner now I did change my review to 3 stars because my husbands food was made correctly and he said it did...

This is my second time at Cliff's and it won't be my last; great bar food at very reasonable prices. The staff is always friendly and the service is decent considering it is loud on weekends. One of my favorite local cover bands plays here. Defiantly come by one weekend to check them out. They're called Ivy League. They play a mix of 80s, 90s and current Rock and Roll. Any way, back to Cliff's: Try their wings and potato skins! The skins are NOT the standard frozen kind you can find at any restaurant. These look truly hand cut; fully loaded and crispy to perfection. Many of the people who come here also love the Tater Tots. Maybe it's the inner child in us all who love them ad they remind us of our childhoods. Regardless of the why, get an order for the table. It'll set you back a whopping $4 bucks.
