Wok N Roll — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Popped in around 4:00. No customers in the place. My 1st time there.

Male owner was staring at his computer with a hand propping his head up like he didn't want to be there. Woman owner was sitting across from him chatting on her cell phone.

I'm in the middle and neither looked at me.

Not feeling happy and contemplated leaving after 3-4 minutes since what they were doing could not have been important or business.

Male looks up, no hello, takes my simple appetizer order. He puts it in the fryer and returns to his computer. 2-3 minutes later the woman repeats my order then stands behind the counter.

3-4 minutes after that she yells at him at which point he takes my order out and puts it in a bag.

She tells me the price, takes my money, doesn't say thank you. He literally thrust my bag in my face and doesn't say thank you.

The order was ok. However it was not enough to return to a place that could care less about their customers.

It makes me wonder what else don't they care about: food safety? Hygiene? Never going back...

Placed an online order with Wok & Roll at 6pm. We live roughly 1.5 miles away from the food place. Delivery driver still has not made it to our house now at 7:40. I called around 7 to check on the order, was asked to be placed on hold, I said yes and was then hung up on. I called back and was then hung up on again. After the third call I finally got through and was told it would be here "soon" and she would call the delivery driver to make sure. After 20 mins of waiting I called back, was told it would be there "soon" and was hung up on. My wife called back right afterwards to get a refund. And after being hung up on quite a few times she was able to confirm our refund. She is a freaking champion, I love that girl.

But don't order here unless you want to pay for something you will get...

I couldn't eat more than a few bites. I ordered the sesame chicken combination and chicken fried rice. I did not expect the food to be high quality or anything. I just wanted the standard edible take-out Chinese. I figured since most of the other bad reviews were about customer service, the food might be good at least. The rice was flavorless. The sesame chicken felt like either they had way over cooked the chicken or there were bones in the chicken itself. I tried about 5 pieces and had to spit each of them out. Waste of $20. I wouldn't even give this food to my dog. I am so disappointed in the quality of this food. It's worse than the 'Chinese' food you find at the Mall, though at least I can eat that without getting...
