Order: Chocolate Ice Cream with Almonds Price: $7 Pros: It’s ice cream via food truck, flavor was good and strong (didn’t taste “watered down”) Cons: Doesn’t quite have the silky smooth consistency, no “stand out” flavors

Thoughts: The idea of an “traditional” ice cream truck at food truck events is awesome. You’re often out in the hot sun, and whats better after some awesome feed than finishing it off with a cool, sweet treat. Nitrogen Creamery does a really good job hitting this “sweet spot” but doesn’t really innovate in any way other than being a mobile ice cream shop.

The ice cream is definitely good, though it isn’t quite a “creamy” as non-nitrogen ice cream, it has more of a firm consistency. The advantage to this is it seemed like it took longer to start melting in the blistering heat that is a Florida summer afternoon. While the ice cream is good, its also basic. There weren’t a lot of “unique” flavors that really stood out.

I’m definitely a fan and I hope they take off in popularity but what I’d really love to see is for them expand some of their choice to cover a wider range of flavors or maybe even get creative and offer some of their own unique combinations. In the meantime its a good place to get your ice-cream fix at a food...

Beyond Impressed with this place!! We don't make it down towards the beaches often, so I miss out on these interesting concept businesses, but after taking the pup to play at the beach for a little, we stopped for a cold treat and we were not disappointed (not even the pup)!! We stopped in and were greeted by 2 nice guys working, one was the owner, they answered all of our questions and let me sample the cookie butter while I decided what concoction I wanted! I asked for a cup of water (at first he stated it'd be a dollar, which I would've happily paid - my pup was thirsty) for my pup and the owner heard and gave me the water for free, that they're pet friendly and made sure we were taken care of, including the dog, while we were there then he came outside to chat with us about the store. Such down to earth, friendly, genuine people with a catchy concept and super dank ice cream! Found my new favorite night dessert spot! When I first came here, I couldn't stop and seem to come every week now, just about lol. I love the atmosphere, rverything is homemade, and the guy at the front (I forgot his name, sadly) is always in great high spirits and energetic. He's great to conversate with and knows his products! I simply love the brookie, and my bf adores their brownie sundaes. That brownie itself is HEAVEN in your mouth! Their mango strawberry smoothie and strawberry milkshake are also delicious. They also bring your order out to you while you wait. The staff is so sweet. I highly recommend coming to this place for any occasion and definitely a good sweet treat location to take your kids. They also have these cute little pup cups for your furry friend.
