Laurel Bridal Gallery — Attraction in Jefferson Township

I had a great experience with laurel bridal! I found this shop because of a designer I found on Pinterest that sells their dresses at laurel. They are a smaller shop but I was looking for a place with unique dresses that I wouldn’t find at every other shop. And they definitely have that! I wanted to stand out on my wedding day and they helped me find the perfect dress. I really wanted two looks of a more Cinderella moment for the ceremony, and a more fitted look for the reception. They helped me find several options of dresses that had big skirts to hook on and achieve that look I wanted for the ceremony and could take off for the reception. The dress I picked out I loved but wanted to adjust it a little bit and they were fabulous at helping me design my dream dress. The mid section was a little see through so I asked if they could have the dress made with a liner inside, and I wanted to add mesh sleeves with floating pearls. Beata is AMAZING! We came in with an idea of a dress, showed her the pictures we liked from previous bridal shops, she instantly started suggesting different dresses and offered different possible alterations if I made a comment about not being sure of something. She definitely knows what she is doing, she has a good eye for pinpointing what would look good on brides. I loved my experience with her in her boutique. We left to another bridal shop appointment and were treated horribly and called to see if we could come back and return for the dress I liked and Beata was so accommodating. I said yes to one of her dresses. It’s an amazing piece of art for an affordable price. I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone looking to feel special and treated right when trying on dresses because I felt comfortable with Beata and she made me feel beautiful. I had a good experience for all my visits. The ladies there were very sweet. My only complaint is with the seamstress they use. This is why I can't give a full 5 star rating. She is a nice lady, but did make me feel rushed during all my fittings. To my horror, I discovered she did not complete the last cut to my dress she said she would do and left the pins in my dress. I felt something poking me during my wedding but I thought it was all in my head. The pins were located deep in my dress (multiple layers that make it puff up a little). These pins were in place for the seamstress to see where she meeded to cut more so I wouldn't step on it. Come to find, on my wedding day, I did step on my dress many times and was poked. This is my first wedding experience and I put a lot of trust in the seamstress. I learned my lesson, however, she shouldn't have forgotten to complete her work.
