Oriole Park — Attraction in Jefferson Township

Fun, as always. The VA has arranged it so the park district and the school allow all service veterans to use the gym as a makeshift archery range. This occurs several times throughout the year. It certainly seems to bring a lot of joy to the veterans. And introduces us to a nice, quite neighborhood full of children - keeping spirits up and, dare I say, the neighborhood just that much more safe when we're around. Awesome park! Tons of activities for kids, and it’s one of the largest parks in Chicago. From summer camps, to basketball and baseball leagues, it is a fantastic place for kids to grow up and meet new people. I’ve played in their baseball leagues and attended summer camp for years, and it was always an excellent experience.
