I have a tendency to be long winded, nonsensical and boring sounding so I’ll spare y’all. To cut a long story short…this is simply the best comic book store in the Midwest.
Having worked for thirty years in hospitality I’ve always lived by the simple rule that service makes the establishment.
John…he is an absolute legend. It’s that simple. Not only does he have Prog Rock noodling away in the store but he is an incredible wealth of Comic History knowledge. He’s just a wonderful man. And by wonderful I mean…he is genuinely a treasure.
The store itself never fails to amaze me. The selection is museum level standard and quality to the point where you start doubting yourself.

I have not been to a comic book since I was a kid as most of them have sadly closed down so I just went too buying online BUT THATS OVER WITH, I will definitely be buying all my comics here from now on. Huge, Organized selection of comics I mean seriously the entire store is comic books with a small display shelf in front with some funko pops inside. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and a nice guy, he was approachable and had no problem assisting me with what I was looking for. Read moreI collect silver and bronze. Just bought ASM 20 275 !!? I travel the US and visit many comic book stores in search of books that will complete my early Marvel Universe. Most stores do not have the extensive silver age comics as this place. This place is my connect/stash. They have tons of silver on the wall in stacks on shelves and keys. So uncommon unless your at SoCal comics in San Diego. Comic con deals with all other book mostly under 4 bucks / bronze/silver age dig.
