AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN AND MEN BEWARE me and my wife had the worst experience here we already felt out of place because I didn’t see no one of our color NOT ONE PERSON we automatically were being watched like a hawk and stared down to the point we were uncomfortable as we were walking out 3 employees immediately assumed we stole from the store when it really was a problem ON THERE PART they made a big scene about it and try to embarrass us as much as they could even after realizing we paid FOR EVERYTHING ON OUR FREAKING RECEIPT no one apologized for making a big scene or handling the situation incorrectly it felt like they were like hey let’s put them up on display in front of the entire store and embarrass them literally I WOULD NEVER IN MY LIFE SHOP HERE AGAIN NEVER EVER AND I WILL NEVER IN LIFE RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AT ALL OF COLOR YOU WILL NOT FEEL WELCOME YOU WONT BE ASSISTED IF YOU NEEDED IT AND THEY WILL ASSUME YOU STOLE SOMETHING WITHOUT EVEN ASKING YOU FIRST OR ASKING TO SEE A RECEIPT THEY WILL YANK YOUR CART AWAY FROM YOU AND MAKE A SCENE IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE STORE OF PEOPLE and again never did any employee apologize for how they handled it or did they apologize for assuming we stole something when we don’t and had proof we didn’t oh and by the way I NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE CHILDHOOD TO ADULTHOOD STOLE ANYTHING I HAVE A GREAT LIFE AND GREAT PAYING JOB next time don’t judge a book by its it cover I promise you it might not be what it may seem...

This is by far the best Aldi's I've ever been to. I won't shop at any type of discount store for groceries like Aldi's because I don't like the brands or quality of the meat but this Aldi's is different, it has good brands and great prices. The reason I shop at this Aldi's is because it seems to have better quality meats, cheeses and desserts. I've been in a few Aldi's stores here and in different states just to see what they have to offer and I never bought anything because these stores are dirty and have below average food items. I live a block away from this Aldi's, so I went in to check this one out and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food items for the same prices as all the other ones. I was a little upset that a woman at the Aldi’s yesterday on Central was wearing her mask on her neck. I told the cashier and he didn’t say anything to her. And then she became really close to me , I said; “ please back away”! People like this that don’t respect the danger, and they don’t understand how bad COVID-19. People like this will keep our numbers up! I wanted to scream at her and tell her why even bother having a mask ? Just so you can get in the store? This made me really upset, I hope that the manager watches people in the store, not just lets them in if they have a mask. I won’t return to this Aldi in Belmont Cragin on Central Avenue.
