Hudson Mall — Attraction in Jersey City

I want to know what happened to Hudson mall how did you win from all that good and popular all that excitement, all of the happiness and being a wonderful place of amazing things.

Now I see it’s just a Mall that will soon to be abandoned. The reason why I put this one star because a long time ago the first time I love going to a Hudson mall was back in the late 90s I don’t know what year Hudson mall was first built probably in the early 90s or the late 80s.

I have all the pictures of the arcade back in the days. However, that arcade no longer exist back in the year 2005, it was no more. I remember you guys used to have a movie theater and the tickets were cheap even though the fact that I did not like the people who work there, but I still love watching movies until in 2018, you a.k.a. Hudson mall shut down the theater.

I remember you used to have RadioShack & I love RadioShack now that wasn’t your fault but the fact that RadioShack had a horrible financial collapse. I remember you used to have GameStop I believe sometime around last month GameStop closed down. The other day, I stop by one hour before 8:00 PM & I’m not gonna lie, how is the other shopping malls like Newport Mall or Jersey Gardens or the outlet Mall in Tinton Falls & American dream mall have it all and you have a little bit left. I don’t know how much time you have left not just in this world, but in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Maybe this year or next year I guarantee you guys won’t make it into the 2030s. I remember you guys used to have it all but you barely have nothing. Hudson mall is a depressing mall nowadays & I wish you guys were to expand more like to make a second floor or third floor but you guys never did that. For basic essentials you can definitely come here. They have a footlocker, bath &body works, t-mobile, Ashley Stuart’s, shoe dept, Popeyes, Marshall’s steps away, jewelry store, menswear store, rainbows, coffee shoppe area and a Habachi buffet restaurant. I went here today with my 3 year old and of course as soon as we get there, he has to use the bathroom and I didn’t have seat covers in my purse. I cringed because mall bathrooms are usually gross. To my surprise, the restroom was SPOTLESS and had plenty of seat covers. The building maintenance woman, Jassmani was just leaving and was very pleasant. The cleanliness of that bathroom immediately eased my anxiety of using a public restroom with a toddler who usually wants to touch everything. I must also add that the mall was spotless. Kudos to Jassmani and the maintenance team at Hudson Mall. I wish all mall restrooms...

Hudson Mall is kind of sad. There are no anchor stores & most of the places to eat are fast food restaurants. Still, there are some worthwhile shopping experiences. The Marshalls store is as good as any, although the Home Goods aspect is extremely lacking. Staples Store is okay, as is Diamond Hut. There really aren't any good clothing options. However, the Asian Food Market is one of the best Asian groceries I have seen in 40 years. Huge, Chinese, has everything & reasonably priced. They have an excellent selection of staples, canned goods, frozen specialties and specialty prepared items. And the produce section is excellent! It is worth it for produce alone. Unfortunately the PEP Boys has changed and you can no longer but car supplies there. There is also a Lowe's at the far north end...
