Jollibee — Restaurant in Jersey City

MOST ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES WERE JOLLY lol

I'm not a huge fan of Pepsi but it was so cold and crisp I can actually say I enjoyed it. The place was spotless.  Considering how busy it was, that was impressive. I saw 2 employees cleaning tables my entire visit.

One of the employees even helped me get a pic outside w the giant bee mascot. ha ha good experience!

Food ranked in order of best to worst.

☆Big Yumburger:  Absolutely fantastic! It was 2 Thick Patties full of Juicy flavor! I can only compare it to like 2 Salisbury steaks, or 2 slices of a  meatloaf with a tasty sause on it fantastic! fantastic! fantastic! My eyes popped out of my head when I bit into it and I looked down at the burger in my hand pleasantly  surprised.

☆Original Chickenwich: Really good, it only had their UMAMI MAYO in it, no pickles or anything. I took a bite of the chicken alone and it was alright, but w the SOFT bun and sauce it was JUICY, TENDER, HOT, PERFECT! Believe it or not I didnt even miss the pickle. (I would have got the upgraded version with lettuce tomato but it was $2.50 more. I told the cashier "that must be the best L&T ever, way overpriced")

☆French Fries: Good, thin, great texture.

☆ Sriracha Mayo side: Reminded me of spicy mayo from a sushi restaurant. Definitely had a kick that lingers for a tiny bit of time.

☆Fried Chicken: It was hot, moist, juicy, cooked perfectly. I was not a fan of the breading flavor. It had a taste like it was cooked in old oil, or maybe it had turmeric in the batter. I'm not accusing Jollibee of old Vegetable oil,  it's just the seasoning I'm not keen on.

☆Ranch Dressing side: mild, a tiny bit sweet. Good, but the flavor is too subtle.

☆Gravy: I didn't expect that to come with my meal. I asked what it was for. They said for the fried chicken. So I did try dipping it in there and it was so flavorless and useless. No taste.

All food was MADE TO ORDER,  PIPING HOT & FRESH.

I totally intend on going back. I will try the SPICY FRIED CHICKEN to see if I like that flavor better. There are so many unique menu items to explore....

The other day I ordered, Jollibee, for lunch. It was absolutely fantastic. This wasn’t my first time trying, Jolibee, but I just had to write a review for it after this time. For this particular instance I had ordered their, 2pc Chickenjoy w/ Palabok Fiesta, their Peach-Mango Pie, and their Pineapple Quencher to wash it down. It was so 🔥 Their fried chicken is seasoned so damn well, and extremely juicy. The Palabok Fiesta, was interesting. Never really had anything like it. It comes with a thin rice-noodle, topped with pork and shrimp chopped together. The sauce it comes in is not like a, may be expected, tomato base sauce (such as a traditional spaghetti sauce). It leaned more on a garlic flavor with a tomatoey undertone to compliment it. Almost buttery like a Marsala. It was delicious all the same! The Peach-Mango Pie was fairly decent, has an Eggroll like crust around the filling. The filling is, of course, very Mango-y and very Peachy. Extremely sweet. Not really up my alley, but the flavor was pretty good. The Pineapple Quencher literally tasted like regular Welch’s Pineapple Juice lol. But it was still delicious and complimented the meal really well. The other times I’ve tried, Jollibee, I had order their, 2pc Spicy Chickenjoy, and on another occasion I had ordered their Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich. Both were terrific. I really couldn’t recommend, Jollibee, highly enough. The food is so damn good and the amount of food they give you is exceptional. The next time you pass a, Jollibee, and have time. Def check this place out for some great fried chicken!

P.S.- 🤫 THEIR BROWN GRAVY IS INSANE!!!!!! Dunk the fried chicken into the brown gravy and thank...

Today I was driving along route 440 in Jersey City New Jersey and my husband was in a mood for chicken so we stopped off at Jollibee, and this was the first time I ever tried Jollibee, and I have to say I was floored… We ordered the 2 Piece chicken Joy with gravy and adobo rice, the chicken sandwich, and a 6 piece chicken tenders & for desert the peach mango pie… And let me tell you the chicken tenders do you have enough for two days, that’s how big they were the two piece chicken Joy phenomenal all the chicken was fresh , very crispy and not greasy at all unlike Popeyes or KFC,.. my husband ordered the chicken sandwich and normally when he orders a chicken sandwich from any place he’s not able to eat the whole thing because she doesn’t like the taste of it or it’s just too nasty but with Jollibee‘s chicken sandwich he ate everything and he wanted another one and let me tell you the peach mango pie oh my God I was in heaven… I am definitely recommending Jollibee to all my family and friends, and this is going to be a weekly Outing to this restaurant… The price was a little much almost $10 for the six piece chicken tenders, but if the food is good and this food was phenomenal, I have no problem showing out money like that… Jollibee has and me and my family customers for life… Way to go...
