Marshall Lake — Attraction in Jersey Village

I give it 5 stars because it’s a really nice park... fishing was a waste of time, but it was time wasted in a super clean, very peaceful, beauty place. The park features plenty of spaces to enjoy the outdoors, you’ll find plenty of trails, fishing piers, parking, benches to sit and enjoy. There’s a lot of places along the bank to fish from (I never caught anything). I live the fact that it’s right near the corner of a bust intersection, but feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere once you get out of your car. A nice 40 acre lake that is safe and well managed from a fisheries perspective. 3 really nice wooden docks to fish from. A gravel-slight incline kayak launch. Some really BIG Bass, lots of Catfish and Crappie. And, winter-stocked Trout! You can't go wrong bringing the little ones here to learn how to fish. And BTW, the 5 Lb bass in my photo was the smallest bass I hooked that day, Dec 26, 2023, I lost one a little larger from that same spot earlier, and a 7-8 pounder broke me off 5 feet ftom shore at the Kayak...
