Well this is an update from a year and a half ago when this was put. Just recently went to gamestop in our local mall And the mall opens up at eleven o'clock. We went to go in the store and they were doing inventories. So they weren't letting anybody in. I get that completely but the guy that's now running it now is something. Because the other one left said it would take about an hour to an hour and a 1/2. No problem. I look around the mall for 2 hours. So we go back, there's still not done with inventory. As there's eight people in the store three of them were actually doing inventory while the other ones were standing around doing nothing cause I was watching them the whole time. I watched a kid and his mother go to the door they told them it would take another 2 hours and we're sorry for the inconvenience so I went up back up to the door an asked them. How long is it going to be since you guys just told me it was going to take an hour and a 1/2 to an hour.He told me that I needed to get over it their trying to do their job. As I asked for the manager's name, they just shut the door and didn't care. This was the last straw. I will not be shopping at this gamestop ever anymore because of this nonsense. I have been a gamestop pro member since 2016 and out of the years. This has to be one of the worst ones ever. I feel like they're not gonna even try anymore. To be like they used to be because they don't know how to train and I don't even care if the manager reads this that runs here because this is bull that they allow people to talk like that to people that we're gonna spend money at their store Around say three hundred too 4 hundred dollars that day. I do not recommend this game.Stop at all until I've find one. That doesn't treat me like that. I would give a 0 but you can't do that on the reviews. So I have to put a one.Do better gamestop, but yet better yet go find a local game store. Because I bet you probably get treated better than what they did to...
Read moreI love shopping at GameStop. I have asthma. So it's hard for me to breathe with any kind of mask on. So I'm exempt from wearing one. I was in there and they told me I needed to wear my mask. I respectfully told them I have asthma and that it's hard to breathe so I'm exempt from wearing one. Now, they did say it was corporate rules. I understand. But, I did inform them that it was against the law to do that. And then they said that it actually WASN'T against the law and they could get security to explain it to me. No trust me. I know well of what's going on. Trust me. I then proceeded to tell them that it IS infact against the law but we were just leaving. Now, I will not shop at this location ever again as to how rude they were. But this is for corporate. I think you need to do your research before making rules. According to the ADA (American Disability Act) if you are a business/employer and one of your customers or employees has a certain disability and they need certain accomodations, you must comply and help in any way you can. Now, asthma is on that list. (As crazy as it sounds) I understand this pandemic has everyone going crazy, but if you have a customer that has trouble breathing and force them to wear a mask, that is against the law. You cannot force someone with breathing issues to wear a mask. We are exempt. Asthmatics don't need to wear a mask if they choose not to. What you did was break the law. And I have probable cause to file a lawsuit. I will let you know what I decide to do. Elizabethton doesn't make me wear one because they...
Read moreIt's a Gamestop so you know what to expect. Pressure for the Add-On Magazine and Membership Card at the POS, MSRP on new games, Slightly lower (but still too much) on used. It's the formula that Gamestop has used for Decades. This location is more conducive to Window Shopping as few would go to the inherent inconvenience of a Mall just to go into a Gamestop. It's not a destination store. That said, the Staff is passionate about games as that is a requisite to tolerate the Gaming atmosphere so Gamers will feel right at home as always. Just don't expect to find any deals or flash sales as you do in Best Buy, Target, or Walmart . . and don't expect to gain much by trading in your games as you get Pennies...
