We visited on a Saturday. Pretty good selection of produce vendors, some of the prices were okay, some were a bit high. Produce looked fresh. There were some vendors with baked goods; breads, sweets, muffins. A few plant vendors; herbs, annuals, hanging baskets, good prices on these. There were a couple of jewelry vendors. Some of the vendors were cash only, some could do cash or card. One suggestion would be to install an ATM at this location. There is a bank ATM a couple of blocks over, but nothing within the immediate vicinity of the Market. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. We had a good time and I'm sure we will visit often. Downtown Johnson City is set up well for casual walking and relaxing. Update: We have been on Wednesday and the Market is open, just a few less vendors. We still have a good time there. Great produce, great coffee vendor, great donuts and pretzels from the food trailer setup outside; Aunt Ruth's. We love...

Read moreLived in Montana, Pennsylvania, Utah, Kentucky, and here in Tennessee and this is one of the best markets I've come across. It's not that the products and veg are extraordinary, or that it is particularly large... it's the fact that it's extremely well run amd organized. The venture is amazing and kept extremely clean. love their Facebook page, and it has a shop now feature where you can ask about certain commodities you are looking for. In my case, it was duck eggs for eating. I was responded to in 24 hrs with an answer. Open in the late spring through late autumn, you can go Weds or Sat 7am to 2 pm. Lots of fun eats and local product, great for kids and there is a park right next door or a family friendly bar with lots of open air seating. It's Charmin location in an old train depot I...
